As a timeshare owner, I love the functionality of the RedWeek website, but more importantly I appreciate the dedication, timeliness, and great customer service from their support team! I have used RedWeek to rent my timeshares for the past 3 years and hope to keep doing business with RedWeek for many years.

Seller or buyer beware. A year after my timeshare sale was stopped by first right of refusal with Marriott, Redweek now sends me an invoice for a sale to their client that never happened. Even after explaining to them, they doubled down. They want paid for a service they couldn't complete. Will avoid doing business with this company at all costs.

    Hi *****,

We are sorry to hear of the misunderstanding of the terms of your sale. Per the resale contract:

As the Seller, the Seller understands and agrees that RedWeek **************** will retain compensation for its services and seller hereby authorizes RedWeek **************** or its agent to disburse funds in accordance with this agreement upon the sale and the subsequent closing thereon. Should the resort choose to exercise their right of first of refusal and buy back the property, the undersigned Seller agrees to the full payment of the full sales commission upon transfer of the property and requests and authorizes the resort or closing agent to pay the full commission due in the amount of $399.00, directly to RedWeek **************** at closing.

As our team explained, because Marriott exercised Right of First Refusale on the resale, the contract terms remain the same and the only thing that changes is the buyer. Your timeshare did successfully sell and the only difference was the actual buyer.

We hope this helps clarify things and congratulations on your sale!

RedWeek provided a relatively easy process to list my timeshare unit for someone else to rent through them. It worked and most of their processes were easy to follow. I'm happy to have gotten a renter in a timely manner and that RedWeek works to financial process to confirm the renter has provided the rent cleared through the system so I know the money (thus the rental) is completed and will be deposited once the renter has checked in. And, once confirmed with the renter then it is committed and I'm assured of getting my payment.

Excellent service. As a not very tech-savvy person, I was very happy to be able to successfully post and rent my two timeshare weeks in *****. The Redweek site is easy to use, has well-designed processes and the personnel were available and helpful when needed.

I listed my timeshare through RedWeek using their Verified and ****************** A renter signed the agreement, submitted the required deposit, and I updated the reservation to the renters name as per the contract. Despite fulfilling my responsibilities, RedWeek later informed me that the renter had canceled before the final confirmation from Redweek, leaving me at a loss. My concerns include: Breach of Trust: The Verified and ***************** and rental agreement suggested the transaction would be secure and binding once signed. Allowing the renter to cancel without penalty undermines the reliability of this service.

    Hi *****,

We are sorry to hear that you were disappointed that the rental didn't work out. As out team explained, the rental was never finalized and per the rental agreement, the renter chose to cancel due to a scheduling conflict.

    Terms and Conditions
This Rental Agreement ("Agreement") is between the above identified Owner and the Renter for the rental of the unit described above ("Unit") for the term described above ("Rental Period"). The Owner has contracted with RedWeek, **** (RedWeek), which serves as the processor and facilitator of the transaction between the two parties. While RedWeek has verified the Unit information listed above with the resort, and provides assistance with the transaction, the Owner is ultimately responsible for the accuracy of the posting, changing the guest name with the resort, and ensuring the resort provides the correct unit type.

    1. This Agreement will become effective upon the completion of the Review Period as described in section 3.1.
    3. Rental Payment Terms
3.1. Upon being notified of Renter's full Rental Payment due under this Agreement, RedWeek will begin a review of the transaction (hereinafter "Review Period"). RedWeek may, in its sole discretion, require additional documentation, proof of identity, a change to the Renter's payment method, or other such information deemed necessary to confirm the rental and protect all parties. Owner agrees to change the name on the reservation and forward a new confirmation. Both Renter and Owner agree to make a best-faith effort to comply with any such requests in a timely fashion. Upon completion of the Review Period, RedWeek will issue an email confirmation ("Confirmation") to both Owner and Renter, at which point this Agreement in its entirety becomes effective (but is not in effect until such Confirmation is issued). If RedWeek does not issue a Confirmation, RedWeek will refund the Rent Payment to the Renter, at which time Renter, Owner, and RedWeek are relieved of all further obligations under this Agreement.

3.2. Once RedWeek issues a Confirmation, neither Owner nor renter may cancel or modify this Agreement except in accordance with sections 4, 5, and 6.
We did not finalize this booking and neither you nor the renter received the confirmation email of such.

Once again, we understand your frustration and hope you'll let us know if you have any questions.
