I took my dog into the vet for a dental extraction and was told that they could perform the procedure after doing a dental exam and blood work on her costing $84.The dental exam and blood work was done on (08/10/22).The day of the dental extraction procedure, (8/25/22) they gave her back to me in extremely horrible shape, they told me they didnt do the procedure and did a dental cleaning instead without my consent while my dog was under anesthesia and charged me $215 or they would call the police.After they told me I could leave instead since I wasnt happy with them doing all of this.I ended up paying for it solely because my dog was crying in pain, couldnt walk, and was in a severe state and needed to go home.They gave me complete misinformation about the procedure and didnt explain anything to me at any point in time that had anything to do with a dental cleaning and i never consented to that procedure.Our family has been through so much emotional and financial damage with costs of travel as well for this incident. I want a refund of the $215, and the $80 for lying to us and harming my dog in the process and not caring for her safety at all.They should not be in business, and treated myself, my dog, and my fiance horribly while we were there talking down to us, refusing to give us their managers information and to let us speak to the actual vet. The entire time the only person we saw was the vet tech who had no knowledge and was extremely rude and unprofessional.Business response

I had already received a complaint from the Attorney generals office, and responded. I have only received an email marked for the 21st. However in responding to the Attorney General I believed the case had been handled so I was not "looking" for any more issues. We will not be refunding the entire amount. The client did sign paper work which funny she did not present to you, stating right above her signature that her pet was receiving a dental cleaning. In speaking with the doctor, she agreed with the client that her pet did not need a cleaning. However to better ***** the tooth in question the pet would have needed anesthesia. The pets tooth was solidly in place and the ONLY way we would have known was for the pet to under anesthesia. The doctor did not feel comfortable with removing said tooth. Which is her right as a doctor. I PUBLICALLY apologized to her on the **** platform in which she also issued a complaint. Otherwise I have not responded to her. If she would like we will issue her a check for the amount of $130.00.
