Wood split! Less than 2 years! This is there response back! I got ripped off!Improper Use or Care: This warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper use. Do not place furniture over direct heat sources. Do not place wood furniture in direct sunlight for extended periods. Do not place near fireplaces, direct heat or moisture sources. Moisturize the wood grain quarterly with a wood conditioner/cleaner. Maintain consistent humidity levels. #4 Ply and grain splitting: Wood expands in high humidity climates. Wood contracts as the moisture is pulled from it in low humidity environments. Seasonal changes means sometimes the wood is in expansion phase and sometimes contraction. Over time this will cause the appearance of cracks in the surface of wood. It can cause the appearance of ply separation or delamination on the edge of plywood grains. The wood responds to interior humidity levels.This is not a manufacturing defect, and reports of ply grain or surface grain cracking and separation of veneers from the base MDF board are not warranty related topics. We recommend increasing the humidity level in the home to above 55% and maintaining the wood surface with a natural plant based conditioner like the one linked here: ******************** However, as a courtesy and to assist you further, we would like to offer you a store credit of $200. Awful. Just awful. First, they also deleted my very negative review from their website (like other customers below). I ordered an 'egg' chair. There was clearly no quality check process and awful manufacturing: my chair arrived with very visible lumpiness. I complained to Kardiel and they told me to use a hair-dryer!! They said that sometimes the foam gets crushed in transit and that hot air would fix it. Obviously this didn't - because the foam inside has been stuffed into the wrong place, leaving a big, very visible dent (about the size of a hand). Then they shared my contact details to a third party - without my permission, and even though I'd told them that I have to be very careful about NOT giving out my details as I'm a survivor of stalking. They have no idea what they're doing basically, and they are a con - pretending to be good quality etc. In reality, **** is far better quality than this.Kardiel Response

No, this is remarkably unacceptable. I did NOT give you permission at all, ever, to pass ANY of my personal details (including telephone and email) to any third party. Yet you did so without my consent. That is so inappropriate, and the fact that you are utterly oblivious to this shows how unprepared you are to act in a legally responsible way as a retailer !!!! Purchased Domus sectional in May 22. It is basically a foam and did not like it, super uncomfortable. All over their website it says 365 day returns. You can not talk to anyone over the phone, only online chat and email. The most frustrating part is in order to return, you have to buy your own box, they will not tell you how much their shipping will be, just a range $700 and up. ALSO, 15% restocking. Basically, after going to a moving company, and paying them to package, I have no idea how much I will get back for this awful sectional. Please do not use this online company! They also deleted all my reviews on their website. **************** is ********* restocking at very least should be waived, after paying over $3000 on my purchase and original shippingReview from Kumar S

Designed in *******, manufactured in *******, quality checked by NO ONE.KARDIEL KEEPS DELETING THIS REVIEW ON THEIR WEBSITE. For a 'premium' furniture manufacturer, beyond disappointed by my Kardiel experience. We ordered the Morpheus King *** in Walnut. We were somewhat enamored by the design (pictures) and thought we'd give it a go even though there is no white-glove service offered by Kardiel - only delivery either dropped at your doorstep or inside the home in large boxes (which is absurd in itself). We get our extremely skilled handyman to come to assemble the bed and were left our heads scratching when literally the pieces WOULD NOT FIT. We call Kardiel and they send another handyman of their choosing (not a Kardiel employee) who finally confirms what we knew already - the legs of the bed were too wide and the holes on the rails (side of the bed) were in the wrong place. And on top of that, some of the foundational slats were also not consistent in length or width (too wide in certain cases and short in some). When we flagged our grievances to Kardiel, we get an insincere apology and a tiny monetary token gesture - which if we do choose to accept, with a 'threat' to void the warranty instantly. Of course, they want to wash their hands clean of this - as I assume if we ever try and take apart this sawed and screwed-on bed together, we could never be able to piece it back. Don't fall into the gram trap of pretty pictures. Unless you want to saw and hammer your way into assembling a bed and dealing with larger-than-life packaging trash.#prettypicturesshittyfurniture. We have used Kardiel in the past for several expansions to our business. Even though there were some delays during covid they always communicated with us clearly and got is what we needed. We have ordered from multiple vendors and the cardio furniture is very nice and holds up well. People ****** on it and several of our customers have taken pictures of it in our waiting room and offices. We have priced multiple vendors in Kardiel always comes out on top for the quality and how long it lasts. Even though some of the other vendors look nice the build quality is not great with West Elm or Modway. The Kardiel furniture has good fit and finish inside and out.
