I have a air filter and a vacuum from this company. They sent out a service tech to check on my stuff and the guy sold me new filters. He offered to let me pay half then and half a month later wghich was october of 2022. My payment did not go through that november. I did not get a call or email or even regualr mail from them about it. They took it upon themselves to bill my credit card two times and months later on 3-28-2023 with out my permission. I gave permission for it to be pulled november of ****. I did not have a call from them like they said or have the service tech come to my door like they said. I have a ring doorbell and would have seen him.Business response

I am very confused by this complaint. **************** has been a customer since 2019. He had an in-home service on October 1st, 2022. His invoice totaled $361.70. Payment is always due at the time of service. Although it is against company policy, the technician tried to help **************** by allowing him to pay half at the time of service and the other half on November 1st,2022. **************** gave us the credit card number he wanted us to run on November 1st. When we tried to run it on November 1st it was declined. Since November 1st we have tried to get in contact with the OBriens. No one ever answered or returned our calls. *** service technician periodically drove to his home to try to collect the payment. He did this because the missing money was taken out of his paycheck since he made the decision to help ***************** Finally,after 5 months of trying, the payment went through.
We are a small business and when customers do not fulfill their payment obligation it hurts our business and our employees. ***re was no late fee, no interest or penalty. He has now paid in full and not a ***** more. He also avoided being sent to collections. When **************** finally called on March 29th I told him if he would like to use a different credit card, I can run that and refund the card he initially gave us.
Again, I am confused why he is upset after we collected the amount he knew he owed on the credit card he wanted us to use. This is a good example of why we cannot defer payments.

I am rejecting this response because: They broke the law and ran my card 5 months later with out permission. I revived no calls and the technician never came to my door. I have a ring door **** that sends notifications to my phone and I can talk to who ever is at my door. I also received no calls from the Tacoma area I would have answered because I was in need of service on my equipment. The law was broken and thats not okay. I gave permission on a certain date to run my card not 5 months later. I will not argue about this anymore I will hire a lawyer and take it further because the law was broken.
