I am still in absolute shock as to what happened to my baby ****. I took her to Lisas pet pawlor to get groomed on Saturday like I have done so many times before. I dropped her off at 8:30 am , at 3:30pm I called to ask if she was ready to be picked up and I was informed that there had been an accident. I kept asking what happened and I kept getting I dont know but shes DEAD. What how , when and why wasnt I called ? Did you rush her to a vet ? All questions I asked and got NO clear answer too. I also asked what time she died and was told 11-1130 that morning. when I arrived there the groomer was conducting business as usual and had my baby wrapped in a blanket in a kennel by the front door. I again asked what happened and she told a different story and swore no heaters were used on my baby. When I got her to the vet at ***** I told them what happened and they took her temperature and it was ****. There is no way that her body temperature was still normal if she passed away hours prior. We called her back because we wanted answers and she admitted that she had heat on the dog below mine and left them unattended. They killed my baby and didnt even bother to try and get her help. Nor did they even notify me that she had passed away. I am so heartbroken and angry.

To whom it may concern.  The complaint received by ***************************** is partially true.  Her dog did pass away while in my care on Saturday the 17th 2022 at about 12:15, but I did not kill her dog.   The dog was never in a heated kennel, as ******* is claiming and I have told her this.  All I can  assume is that Cocoa had an underlying health condition, as the owners said themselves when they picked her up.  The recorded body temp of **** is actually what it should have been considering the time of death. The body temperature should drop .8 degrees per hour after death and a normal body temp for a dog is 101-102.5.  I feel horrible about this incident, but I did not kill her dog.
