      5/26/2024 Bought a used vehicle advertised with 70k miles with a clean Carfax report, also provided by the dealership. The engine failed on us while traveling within the week of purchase. We had it towed to the nearest ****** dealership who reported to us that the engine was not the original, had more miles on it than advertised, and was from a salvaged 2019 vehicle. When we contacted the Bud Clary dealership, they said the engine had a warranty (that we knew nothing about because they purposely didn't disclose that the engine had been replaced there AT their dealership and it was not on the Carfax-and still isn't.) We wanted to return the car and a refund from the dealership. They refused to refund us or take it back and the ** will not answer or return our multiple calls and has refused to resolve the situation with us.

      Worst experience I've ever had. I highly recommend anyone who needs service to go anywhere else. I took my truck in with a check engine light. They told me it was the fan clutch, but they were unable to locate a replacement. They charged me $380 to diagnose this. I mentioned that was high when I went to pick it up. He said they thoroughly inspected the vehicle and tested the fan clutch, and it was bad, everything was okay.I drive it home, look in the engine bay to see how bad it would be to replace the part myself and the fan belt is completely shredded. I mention this to the service tech and a few hours later they tell me they are refunding the diagnostic fee. I'm satisfied at this point. I'm able to find the part at another dealer in ***** and they ship Mr the part. Whike replacing the fan clutch and belt I find the tensioner pulley is also destroyed. I called them about getting a replacement. They want to charge me $86 for a pulley. Since they inspected the vehicle and told me everything was fine but the fan clutch, I assume they must have taken the belt off and put it back on while diagnosing and screwed it up. I ask to be compensated for the pulley and they refuse. The service manager comes out and they tell me they didn't even open the hood when it was in for diagnosing. I paid $380 for a diagnostic test, and they didn't even open the hood and look? I can't believe they try and rip people off like that. No wonder they refunded it when I started asking questions. Their own receipt says "multi point inspection" how exactly do you do that without opening up a hood? The service advisor *******, lied to me multiple times. He stated multiple times that the service tech said the belt was good when they were in it. He stated they did testing on the fan clutch itself. He stated they did a multi point inspection. All lies.
