In early October 2022, I purchased a remote test from PST scheduled for 10/25 at 12:30pm for $55. The test did not begin until either 1:16 or 1:17pm due to advertising from other agencies, which did not allow me enough time to finish. Unable to complete the exam, I requested a refund. The request was denied, in which I requested the matter be escalated. On 10/31 I received a call from a *********************, who was not interested in hearing my concerns, damages for the negligence on the part of PST, or working out an amicable solution. ****************** disagreed with the legal definition of negligence, steamrolled my concerns with his experience as a police chief, and then threatened to call the agency in which I applied for. Some of my damages include the following; day off of work, purchased laptop to meet the testing requirements, and fee for test (+/- $600). I would like to give PST a final opportunity to settle the matter one last time for $55, a reimbursement of their fee prior to issuing a legal demand letter for all damages. I feel that this is an amicable solution given the negligence and threats on the part of PST. Thank you,*****************************

My state law enforcement agency requires a written exam taken through Public Safety Testing as part of the application process. I scheduled this exam and paid the $55.00 testing fee. Due to Covid-19 considerations, Public Safety Testing canceled my exam and placed me on a waitlist to reschedule in the future(which is completely understandable). However, when the future came around and I attempted to reschedule the exam, Public Safety Testing told me that the waitlist timeframe had expired. The company says that they will not refund my testing fee, and also that I will need to pay the testing fee again if I would like to reschedule the exam.Public Safety Testing never passed along any deadline stipulations when the company initially canceled the exam and waitlisted me. I paid the testing fee with the expectation of taking an exam. I would like to take that exam or receive a refund of my testing fee. I believe this to be disreputable conduct on the part of Public Safety Testing, especially in light of the fact that this company caters to the law enforcement, corrections, and firefighting occupations.
