On August 4th of 2022, I paid the storage unit $123.35 for another month of rental time because I wasn't able to get my things out of the unit by the time they requested I have my things out by. I called and explained the situation and the woman on the phone said it was no problem and so I paid for the extra month of time. 2 days later, on August 6th they revoked my access to my unit and wouldn't allow me to get any of my things. On top of that, when I attempted to get a refund for the month I paid for they kept telling me either that managers weren't there and the people on the phone weren't able to process refunds. It seems illegal to me, I understand why I was kicked out and I was fine with it - that was within their right but for them to allow me to pay for another month of time only to take my money and not allow me access to my unit, it just seems unfair. I attached the receipt for my payment and then the automated "Move-Out" email I then received on the 6th, 2 days later as evidence.
