On Oct 29th , i went to TOS tires in lynnwood, wa to get my wheels mounted on tires. I paid $380 cash to this business to mount them, as they said it will be a lot more if they charge my card. I gave them the wheels/tires and they told me to come back in an hour. when I came back the manager wasn't there, and so the workers collected the money and they all loaded the tires and wheels into my truck. Did not get a chance to look at them when they loaded it in my truck and they were not fluent in English so could not communicate with them. when i got home i took some time to look at them, I called the manager and explained the damage to him. He said it was not possible because "their" machine cant do that damage. I went there and showed him and they tried everything they could do to sell me new wheels at "discount price". I did not want discounted wheels, i just wanted my wheel they cracked to be replaced or repaired. The wheels I brought in cost about $10,000 new for a set. One wheel that they damaged would cost $2,500 to replace. So they kept offering me a different cheaper set of wheels for $1,700. So now i am stuck with damaged a damaged wheel that nobody will buy and lost money. I also paid $380 to mount these wheels/ tires and cant use them on my car anymore so that was also a loss on my end. So i am down $2500(cost of one damaged wheel) +$380(install labor) = $2,880. I spoke to the manger over text and the owner of TOS and they both are not trying to resolve this problem, just trying to sell me some more wheels after i am already at a loss. Just basically saying they arent responsible for it and they cant fix it and things like that. I would like my $2,880 reimbursed, so i can get my wheel replaced by an authorized place that sells forgiato wheels and mounted professionally. I also have the previous owner of my wheels, who can testify that that crack was never there. and also this shop has damaged my friends tires last year without resolving the problem.
