This company is the worst. We ordered a coop from them for our first flock of chickens and we started out so hopeful. Everything was fine until the shipment came. The coop is the flimsiest thing in the world. Does it look cute? Yes. Would I trust any animal in it? No! It would blow away in a heartbeat and predators would get inside in two seconds. Their locks are a joke. We ordered the automatic door and it took 3 hours to attempt to install. Doing so split wood in multiple places, and we had to reinforce constantly. When I asked how it could be done, I was told get creative. Um WHAT? Ive never done this before. How can I get creative. Youre the freaking experts. Maybe show some care for people and help out??? I told them how upset I was at trying this out and it failing and breaking our coop and they never responded. Im furious. I asked to return and they said yes but it has to be unused and in original package. And I I have to pay to ship. Which, I expected the unused and original and possibility of restocking fee because of their return policy. What Im upset about is their lack of care. After going back and looking at their website Im so positive they pay for reviews. Theres no way that they have that many glowing reviews. I tried to post a review about the automatic door and its still not showing. So clearly they screen all reviews at the very least. I would give anything to get my full refund. Maybe then I might look at them as a company who cares.

Sorry the auto door was so difficult to install. There was some confusion on our part when you wanted to return and we thought you referred to the coop portion. This coop I designed and is a perfect midsized coop! We have sold 100+ of the auto door and the only issue has been one control panel issue. The rest have figured out how to setup. We received the return and will refund accordingliy.Review from Claudia C

This mom & pop business needs some aunts and uncles to help get the job done. We purchased a Farmhouse coop in early 2022. What we got was a Lodge coop; wrong coop. We had opened the boxes and started assembly before realizing the problem. The company was responsive, immediately refunded the difference in price once we agreed to keep the coop we received. (What a hassle to box the wrong coop back up and send it back. Also costly to ship x4.) There was some damage to a part, not from shipping but from how it was put together screwed too tightly and cracked the wood? They agreed to replace this piece and WE STILL HAVENT SEEN IT, months later. We also asked for an automatic door and received it promptly. However, I cant see how it is best installed in this coop. Sideways? Inside the coop? The roof is too low to install as youd expect. When I asked them how best to install, they said essentially, we did it. Its fine. Huh? Not at all helpful. They have been 100% unresponsive since. I agree with another reviewer that the coop itself is pretty flimsy. Im worried that the gaps in the walls will allow rain into the coop. We werent planning on have this coop inside our ru but we may have to, to keep it dry. If coop buyers are looking to purchase a good solid coop from a supportive seller, look elsewhere.Review from Nicholas R

This company is a complete scam. Their coops are incredibly flimsy, cheap, and are not as advertised. Their filter all the negative reviews from their website and only allow positive reviews to be posted. I attempted to leave a review multiple times and it was never posted. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY.Review from Robert K

Im agreement with the other reviews. Horrible product and even worse customer service. I received two pieces that were obviously packaged broken. No quality control. When I contacted the company they would not send a replacement without charging me for shipping. The actual coop is so flimsy and cheap I dont believe it will make it one season. Most of the screws split the wood during install. Even complete it together I am afraid it will fall down. This company should be embarrassed that this is the product they are putting out. Worse yet, this was a Christmas gift. I have to tell the person who purchased it they got scammed!The Chickenpens Company Response
