For about one year NW ******************************************* have not fixed the problem with the front furnace. The tech has been out about 20 times to fix this furnace, but to no avail. He has replaced the thermostat at least 5 times and relocated it each time it has been replaced. He has almost replaced everything as well. This last time he replaced the fuel injector. Ever since doing this, the furnace has gone boom boom and then shakes violently to the point I think it was going to come off the wall. Then I smelt gas. I notified NW ******************************************* and the tech came out and said that everything was OK, that he talked with the Manufacture of the furnace and a tech told him there must be a problem with the amount of pressure from the meter to the furnace, so the tech for NW ******************************************* said he would call AVISTA immediately. Two weeks went by and nothing from AVISTA. I called the tech and ********* about getting AVISTA out here. Finally, AVISTA got here a week ago, and determine the furnace was defective and a hazard and locked, turned the meter off, and then locked and said we couldn't use the furnace because its unsafe and a hazard. I immediately called ********* and told the news. I have yet to receive a call from her. My wife wrote her as well and ********* hasn't responded as well. We have been bundled up with blankets and sweats the entire winter because the furnace doesn't work. Not only that, our AVISTA **** is about $850 for electricity due to the electric space heater ********* gave us to use. I also left a message on how much the space heater has cost us, and to pick up the space heater as well. The furnace is less than two yrs old and I will have to seek a new furnace to get us through the winter coming up. This new furnace will run about $4500 plus permits. My wife and I are in our 70's, and we can't go through another winter like what we've already experienced this year. We are asking for your help.
