On 05/10/2022 we dropped our two Shih Tsu puppies off for a grooming appointment at 10 AM. Over the past few visits to the shop for grooming we have found that the time the owner keeps the dogs for grooming has become outrageous. They called me at 2 PM that one of the dogs was done and they were starting the second dog. At that point my dogs had been there for four hours with no area for bathroom breaks. They told us at that point they would need another hour to finish. An hour and ten minutes later they called me again to tell me that they needed an additional hour, needless to say I was very upset at that point . Finally five minutes to closing and my dogs had been there for 7 hours with no bathroom break. I walked in to get my dogs as it was the closing time for the business and the owner approaches me and says , you not mad at me because of the wait, he he. I was absolutely angry and may have over stated my anger with a few expletives. We never got an apology, or an offer for compensation or a reasonable explanation why they are completely inept at getting our dogs groomed in a reasonable amount of time. The owner acted as if she was offended that we would be upset. She offered no reasonable compensation for time or the neglect of our dogs for the inconvenience. We had been customers for over three years when it originally was run by ******** who actually cared bout the animals and not the overbooking to make more money. Our concern is that this groomer service overbooks regularly and neglect the animals for over 7 hours in our case alone. There are no facilities for the animals to do their business and there is a community water bowl that all of the dogs share. Our dogs cried the entire time taking them home because they have been trained not to p*** and pee inside the house. The owner provides no ability for any of the animals to have relief. Our hope is that the BBB looks into neglect by the Management and the owner that has no remorse for their neglect.
