  We were hired by ALLFIX LLC February 8th, 2024 to do a handyman job at ****************** in the *********************, Long Island **. We were hired to fix 2 ceiling lights and 1 light switch in one of the patient rooms. We charged the company $520 , $300 was to be paid before starting the job (we were sent the $300 via zelle Feb 8,2024) and when the job was finished at ****************** we were suppose to be paid the rest of the money ($220) February 9th, 2024. we purchased the material on February 8th, 2024. On February 9th, 2024 we went to ****************** to start and completed the job we were hired to do the same day.Once we sent the pictures of the finished job (the new lights installed and the new switch installed) then the issues started happening paying us the rest of the money owed for the work completed. He didnt want to pay the rest of the agreed apon amount anymore so we agreed on $500 instead total (because we didnt want to risk not being paid at all) then he kept jerking us around saying he had to wait for the money to come in and finally 5 days later (February 15th, 2024) we were paid $80 he still owed us $120. He kept telling us the money would be sent to us soon but he never sent it to us and we never heard from him again. I kept reaching out to him via text and phone he hasnt answered. Its been over 2 weeks now since we completed the job we were hired for at ****************** and we were never paid the remaining $120 owed.

  I did not see the first reminder. Scammers have been using our name to scam handyman pretending to be us. We do not do any work in any of ********** other than **********. We already reported that to FTC and added a scam alert to our website and social media. Not sure what else to do other then educate the contractors about the threat.

  I reached back out to the BBB a few weeks ago regarding the original complaint I wrote to the BBB about AllFix LLC. the owner contacted me by phone and explained what was going on, it was wasnt his contracting business that hired us it was a scammer using AllFix LLCs business title, website, ect. 
  he informed me that these scammers using their business name/ website/ ect have been doing this for a while and they have been trying to stop it so other people like me do not get scammed, but there hasnt been much help for him and his complaints against these scammers which I do not think is okay. Its not right that this company is getting bad ratings on their website and messages to the better business bureau due to these scammers and have tried everything they possibly could to stop the scammers from using their business name but havent had any luck or help with the issue and have filed multiple complaints against anyone using their business name/ and website. 
  I hope someone is able to help them soon with this issue because it isnt fair that they are getting the backlash from scammers using all their info and ratings to gain clients trust that the real AllFix LLC worked hard for and built their business up by hard work and integrity. I hope they are able to get a solution to this problem as soon as possible!

  I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

  I would also like to retract my original message to the BBB about this company because after speaking to Vitaly I found out that it wasnt his business who hired us it was a scammer using their business name/ website and positive ratings. Hes been trying to fix the issue and has been getting calls just like the one I posted here from all around the ** and they only work in **********. So far they havnt been able to get any help on the issue with these scammers using their info and have and continue to make multiple efforts to shut them down so no more individuals/ businesses are scammed, but haven't had any luck so far. I dont think its fair to this business that they are getting the backlash because scammers are using their business name and ratings/reputation that they built, and have been trying to fix it but havent had any help in doing so. 
  

  they have exhausted all efforts to stop these scammers with no luck at all and I hope they receive a resolution soon!
