Customer Response
02/22/2022
The vehicle purchased from Blade Chevrolet is a problem from day one, and Blade is doing nothing about it. We have lost lots of business and money due to Blades erroneous actions and errors. We do not waver when we state that Blade Chevrolet is not to be TRUSTED and their knowledgeable/ expert staff is clearly lacking. Blade Chevrolet does NOT take into serious consideration the customers business vehicle needs, the performance expected and needed and ensuring safety as the number one priority when utilizing the vehicle for the business, this is a work vehicle! Blade Chevrolet sold to us a **** of goods that we cannot use in our business, period. After our negative experience and further questioning Blade and its manager(s) competence, an engineer stated, I am sorry but the engineer did not approve, you need a bigger chassis and other experts have stated, the chassis is too small for your business needs, creating a see saw effect. When loading a small amount of weight into the box of the vehicle and/or attaching one of our work trailers the front wheels come off the pavement loosing traction and complete control of the vehicle, this vehicle nearly caused one of our company drivers and an innocent bystander severe injury that could have resulted in a fatality. This vehicle is a major safety hazard when driven and Blade Chevrolet has clear knowledge of these facts, that they continue to ignore. The vehicle at empty already is near maxed! The expertise and knowledge of Blade Chevrolet is highly questionable given that they were provided in extensive detail what we do; that we are in the construction industry and that not only will this vehicle be loaded down with ladders, tools and materials but also it will be towing one of our various industry specific trailers, etc. Blade was fully aware of these facts; they have furnished and installed ladder racks, rear access ladder, rear tow hitch and brake controller, etc. In response to the aforementioned Blades inaccurate and/or false comments, here are the facts:We did not substantially modified the vehicle that Blade Chevrolet was not fully aware of, that we needed 4wd due long winter seasons. All work performed to this vehicle to date has been completed by a certified/ authorized GM establishment who state that they have been in business for 40+ years, who provide services for ambulances, government vehicles, etc dropped off to them, nationwide.Blade stated that they made a 1) goodwill gesture, this statement is not true, and 2) to repair defects; Here are the facts: 1) Blade has been giving us the run around from day one when we informed them back in April 2021 and the vehicle had less than ***** miles on it. Blades response was you need to go there, you need do this, and what did they say and so on and so on. TO DATE, Blade Chevrolets manager(s) have NOT, and I emphasize, have NOT taken any initiative to take the vehicle back to their dealerships service department and repair defects, let alone show any goodwill gesture. Instead, Blade Chevrolet is INSISITING we take the vehicle outside of warranty to a nonauthorized and NON- Certified GM facility that is known here in town as a small local repair shop. It is the responsibility of Blade Chevrolet who has sold us this vehicle, to ensure and provide us, their customer, with a safe work vehicle that can handle what we do as a business and the various services we offer, not some third party shop who is not GM certified. Again, Blade knows what services we offer, how we intend to use the vehicle and the performance this vehicle must provide to us. It is clear, Blade is losing all credibility by their erroneous actions. We did contact the Lemon Law for assistance, when all was said and done, they did state that there are limitations on their ability to assist us. In response to Blades comment, it is not that Blade got a ruling in our favor. The fact is that the issue(s) with the vehicle is outside of the scope of what is covered by the Lemon Law and their ability to help us with at this time. The Lemon Law has limitations, and having been provided alternate assistance, we will absolutely continue to pursue all resources that are available to us as consumers, to protect our safety and rights. Blade Chevrolet has lost credibility and are NOT to be TRUSTED!Blade Chevrolet, continue to ignore the severity of the problem, their level of customer care and excellence is greatly lacking and is questionable, for us as the consumer and as their customer, they care only for their bottom line, to make the sale. Blade will sell you what they have on their lot and/or what they manufacture, not what is in the best interest of and what is needed for their customers work and business needs. Blade Chevrolet completely ignores safety and lacks accountability in providing service, care and knowledge to prevent the potential high risk of another getting severely injured. Based on our experience and facts shared, Blade Chevrolet does not care to take responsibility when selling a vehicle so that when driven there is a feeling of comfort and assurance that safety comes first, not only for the driver of the vehicle but for the public that we engage with each and every day. This was supposed to be a fun and exciting experience adding a new vehicle to our fleet, unfortunately Blade Chevrolet has been a complete let down that is inexcusable. We, as a long time multi generation family owned and operated business and we have been long time Chevrolet customers for well over 45 years, we have never experienced anything like this, never! We stand true to our statement, Blade Chevrolet is NOT to be TRUSTED, period, end of story!
