Took my dog to this facility on the following occasions 10/15/23 & 10/17/23.I was told on the first occasion that my dog was not critical even though she presented with the same issues on the second visited. On the second occasion I brought my son who is a nurse with me and was told my dog was critical. We agreed to do testing and agreed on low price of $725 or a high price of $777.00. However, when I went to the desk to leave, I was handed a bill for ****** with no justification of the new amount. I paid $500 in cash and was told to sign an agreement to pay the balance with in 3 days, I agreed. I confirmed that the doctor wanted additional information that I would provide the following day. I was to give supporting information and had some follow-up questions. When I called back on the 18th, I was told the doctor was busy and they would try to call me back. When I called on the 19th to provide information on what they claimed was a critical patient I was told the doctor was not on staff anymore and they were not taking new patients. I have requested the records to go to another doctor but have been told there is a process, and the records are for a critical patient. Either my dog is not critical, or they are not interested in helping my dog which was the whole point. Since I will likely have to re-do the tests that were performed and likely not get any results from the rest of the tests, I would like an adjustment. I will provide billing information if needed for this claim to move forward.
