On November 9th, 2023, I made a payment of $4,625.78 to Bench Accounting for one year of bookkeeping services, which included a dedicated bookkeeper and the task of catching up on historical data accounting from the beginning of 2023 to the present. However, up to this date, I have not received any of the historical data catch-up, leaving my books incomplete since that time. Additionally, I was supposed to have my taxes filed by a dedicated tax filer, but I have not been contacted by anyone in that role, nor do I know who they are. Today, I had a scheduled call at 1:00 pm EST with ***** ****** to discuss canceling my service, but I did not receive the expected phone call. The only way to contact Bench Accounting is by scheduling a call, but they consistently fail to call at the agreed-upon time. I feel extremely frustrated as I have paid a significant amount of money for services that have not been provided. As a result, I have been forced to revert back to managing my own accounting due to Bench Accounting's lack of service and failure to fulfill their obligations. I demand a full refund for the services that were never delivered so that I can sever ties with this company. Due to the lack of response regarding my cancellation request, I urgently require assistance in resolving this matter.Initial Complaint

The business promised us an accounting solution. To date we have received zero output. Not a single financial statement in multiple months. There is nothing we can use in any way shape or form. We had to spend time and money to use an alternate method to do our financial statements and file our taxes. When we tried to work with them they wanted us to do all of their work for them. To be specific they want us to classify every line item from our bank and credit card systems. 100% of the items. Zero automation. Zero work completed by their team. When asked for a refund they offered 30% and said they would do the work going forward. That is not acceptable as they work they propose to do is not the work they promised to do at the beginning of the relationship.
