Dear BBB,I just noticed a charge on my credit card and had no idea of what it was for. My credit card company told me who was billing my credit card, The Simple Life. ******************************** is their email.The Company address I put down was a Company with the same name, not sure if they are the right company or not. I have emailed them and asked them for their company address and phone numbers.I remember looking at their web site to learn more about intermittent fasting. I had looked at several different sites to learn about intermittent fasting. The Simple Life site asked for my name, address and email address. there also was a spot for your CC#. My computer fills in all of the information. After reviewing and seeing what the cost was, I didn't even want to do the trial that they offered. I erased all of the information that was on the form. When I was erasing the CC#'s, I'd erase one number and another credit card # would pop up. After I thought all of my information was gone I left the site. My intention wasn't to purchase anything or do a trial. When I noticed the charges on my CC, I emailed them to get a refund and they refused to do that. 12/04 billed $17.98 01/03 billed $29.99 02/03 billed $29.99 03/03 billed $29.99 04/03 billed $29.99 05/03 billed $29.99 06/03 billed $29.99 Total amount billed: $197.92Initial Complaint

I signed for a free trial ti this horrible app and then they charged me for a $29.99 when I never agreed to pay for a monthly payment i never liked the app I pay $4.99 for the trial and i didnt like it and now they told me they cant do a refund because i never used the app, what kind of joke is this, I want my money back immediately.Initial Complaint

The refund policy stated I could cancel at any time during the trial period. This is not what I expected. I contacted customer service and they just offered to reduce the price. This is a rip-off. I communicated with ******* and ****** who were no help. Please pull the transcript. I was clear that I would submit a BBB complaint. ******* decided it was more important to upset a customer than issue a ***** credit. It's actually less than that if I was to take the partial credit. How wise is that. I will also be blogging this experience.
