I acquired a design plan for $1050, only to discover that it was tailored to East coast building codes, which significantly differ from those on the West coast. Despite several revisions made by the designer, subsequent discussions with the reviewers revealed that, apart from the extensive modifications required, the plans would not be approved with a copyright stamp. Consequently, the plans I procured failed to obtain approval from the county reviewer, resulting in significant financial and temporal setbacks as we had to procure alternate plans conforming to local regulations without licensed copyright stamps. Overall, this incurred a loss of $2,000 and four weeks of time. We are pursuing a full refund as the plans proved unusable in any capacity.Business response

I am rejecting this response because: It is not an answer. It did not resolve anything nor even try. I initially emailed the owner of this website stating that we cannot use the plans purchased and we tried to pay to have them changed. All of the changing would not have mattered because our county building department would not accept plans with license stamps all over them, and this was stated directly from the managing engineer for our county. The owner of Monster House Plans wanted to speak to the engineer as if the engineer would change his mind. THE BOTTOM LINE WE COULD NOT USE THE PLANS AND HAD TO PURCHASE OTHER PLANS AFTER MUCH MONEY AND TIME SPENT TO MAKE THESE WORK WHICH THEY DID NOT. We expect a full refund for a product we could not use.
