Arrowscapes recently completed a landscaping project for my husband and I. As per the original estimate/contract that was sent to me, we had already paid them 60% of the project up front, which amounted to $24762.81. The remainder of the project was expected to cost $16508.54. This is what was written and understood to be the total amount charged due to the verbiage within the contract clearly stating that ALL supplies, equipment, material, labor, and delivery are included in the estimate. Now that the job is complete the business is threatening legal action and demanding that I pay them nearly $7000 more than the previously stated remainder for labor and materials. I have stated that I am unwilling to pay more than what was previously agreed upon, with the exception of a $20 dump fee which could not have been estimated before the job was done. In addition to the job not being completed in a timely manner, an abundance of poor communication, and the job not being completed as per my original wishes, the owner has been downright disrespectful and began demanding payment before the job was even done. Arrowscapes has been anything but professional and I was massively overcharged for what I was told would be a quick, simple job. Since hiring this company I learned that they rebranded from the previously named Agape Gardening and saw poor reviews there. I wish I hadnt hired them in the first place and feel completely taken advantage of at this point. I have offered to pay the remainder of what I owe, minus the raised beds which were purchased and assembled by myself, but were originally part of the estimate. This amount due would be $12928.66 but the owner is threatening legal action instead of sending me a bill to reflect this, and thus close out the transaction.
