We contracted with Olympic Movers to move our household goods from one house to another in Olympia. During the move, the movers caused significant damage to the wood floor in the house being moved out of. We submitted a damage claim and it was rejected. We then re-submitted the claim with time-stamped photos proving the movers caused the damage on the day of the move, but that claim was also inexplicably denied. We ended up having to pay for the damage to be repaired out of our own pocket (despite having purchased the most encompassing insurance option in the moving contract). We eventually had to *** Olympic Movers to get them cooperate. As a result, we sincerely cannot recommend Olympic Movers to anyone.

So we went with this company because of the reviews. However our experience with this company was pretty terrible. Here is a list of things that they messed up because of overbooking/understaffing and poor quality of care.Broken Dishes Broken desk's Hardware taken apart but not kept in central location Lamp shades were destroyed Boxes were not handled with care and movers were seen dropping and plopping "fragile" boxes Mattress were provided with sleeves, but they were not used. Items came in dirty.We had a 2 part move where our things were transferred to a storage unit when we moved and then from there moved into our new home. The day the items were supposed to be delivered from the unit, they didn't have a "large enough truck". They were going to take 2 trucks to deliver our things, but they didn't have enough drivers who knew how to use a stick. So to deliver our things it took them from 11am to 9pm. multiple trips.Even after this, they left a mattress in the storage unit and lied to us about having done so. So after paying approximately 5.5k to have our things delivered we had to go pick up an item randomly left in the warehouse. The driver lied and said he got everything out of the unit when asked. As we discovered we were missing a mattress and asked, he said he thought it might be in the Olympia warehouse that they own. When I contacted the management team to see how they would get the mattress to us, I did not get a response for a week until after we had decided to go get the mattress ourselves.If your are thinking of using this company, look elsewhere. The earlier quality that led to there rating is no longer there. Save yourself a headache and find a company that will value your things and your time.

The Movers where quick efficient, clean, and met all CV19 protocols, Excellent, excellent service. I will definitely request their service again. ******* and **** are great representatives for service and follow up. The two gentlemen sorry only remember one of the names **** and his partner did a great job. I will definitely tell folks to use this company for any kind of move. Pricing was great to!
