Cycle is the management company for Lakepointe Townhomes. This is to warn you of their unfair and illegal business practices. July 2021, I had the misfortune of renting a 2 bedroom 2.5 BA townhome from them. Long story short, I signed a lease that barred me from having a charcoal or gas grill on premises. However, per their rules and regulations, only charcoal grills are not allowed. First law violation, no conformity, some occupants can have them and other cant. We both signed a ************* Addendum; however, I found a wall in the unit nearly covered in mildew for which they just painted over. They have a snitch that lives behind 1st set of units that smokes in his garage. My smoke detector case was deliberately left open so the snitch can pretend he discovered it during an out of the blue inspection. They are very sneaky people. You must follow them everywhere they go in the unit. They look for things to later use against you. Beware of the forms they give you to sign acknowledging receipt of certain documents. They never provided me an initial copy of CC&RS, I had to request them twice. Double check that they gave you copies of everything you signed including an actual copy of their 191 pages of CC&RS. This is very important because I discovered major discrepancies in their rules and regulations when compared the CC&RS. I was retaliated against after I complained about remodeling noise in the unit next door. They gave me a $500 fine for having a charcoal grill. From day 1, they knew I had this grill but decided to issue me a 10 day notice 6 days after my complaint call and 9 months after having the grill. Of course the fine is unlawful and will be soon addressed in court for improper notice. They kept every ***** of my $1,495 deposit for bogus repairs. Mind you, I have perfect rental history and have always gotten my deposit back in the past. I have 25 characters left but I will find a way to finish telling my story on other websites.
