              I used Pettit property management(PPM) for over six years to rent out my house. 6 months ago I received complaints about the exterior condition of my house from the *** and my neighbors. I was surprised that repairs that I authorized to fix years ago were not performed and many I had paid for. So I contacted the renter and asked for pictures. To my surprise many of the items I was charged for at the beginning of the contract, like interior painting, were ot performed by I had paid for. There were ********** and fence repairs that I had paid for, were not performed. The reason for the *** complaint was house painting and trim rot. This had lead to structural repairs. Pettit was not performing periodic inspections per our contract or they were negligent in informing me. I paid them to keep my house in good repair and they failed and now I am incurring them cost of structural repairs.

              If I could give them zero stars I would. They nickel and dimed us for everything upon move out. We left the house in ************** than when we moved in but they claimed to need a cleaning crew there for 7 hours. They also charged us for a dusty garage (turns out garages are just dusty, who knew?!) and they charged us for a light bulb being different than others in the fixture, not a different color, just slightly softer white light! We refuted their original subtractions from the deposit (nearly $900) and it took them over a month to get back to us with a revised offer of only $170 less. These people are predatory and uncaring; they do not care about their tenants. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM.

              We are unsure why this review was posted, as it was posted mid research of a move out dispute and the owners covered the entirety of their move out expenses regardless of the home being in a condition that required work that resulted in a tenant expense per the signed lease agreement.
