The realtor ******************************* stated multiple times before purchasing my home that fiber was laid on the street, second street in Othello to have fiber, I may add. Once the process got closer to the move in date, his story started changing about how the fiber would need to be laid, connected to the house, and then internet installed inside. He kept telling my fianc and me that he would reach out to his friend who works for the internet company, ************** Communications, to get it installed. During this time he slowly stopped responding to my texts and my fiancs. Last week he told my fianc he got ahold of his friend and that it should be in within the next couple weeks. I called him Friday April 21st and was told he would pay for our internet bill since we dont have service and see about getting ** a hotspot. His friend said we would get internet this current week of April ***** and we are the first on our street to get it installed. Today April 24th, my fianc called him around 11:40 to get an update, he was told he would be called back after the showing ****** was doing. Around 3:40 my fianc called again because he had not gotten a response and ******* assistant informed him that ****** was in a meeting with the builder and would get back to him after. My fianc called again around 4:50 pm to no response. He texted him stating how this is really starting to affect our livelihood and need an update.

My name is ******************************* and I am the broker and owner of Imagine Realty Group as stated in the complaint.  We are currently in Phase 4 of Sandhill Estates in Othello. ************** listing all of the homes and in charge of selling them.  In all of the phases, we have Vyve/Northland as the internet provider.  The builder was proud to have them as they were the first all fiber internet to be in our small rural town of Othello.  When roads are built, infrastructure is put in for water, power, irrigation water and internet.  For the home construction, the builders let me know that all ************************ is in.  I was told they were in as they always are in each phase.  This client home was 3rd or 4th in the phase and I was under the assumption that the internet was in the street like the previous 3 phases.  I was not lying to the buyer about the process.  The internet is in the street and they have to connect it in to the houses. With the fiber optic connection, they have to splice it in to the house and go in from there.  I did reach out to *************************** who is our contact for Vyve/Northland internet and have I known him for a long time.  I sent him a text on April 5th and I have provided those text messages, which are attached to this response.  I asked him if the fiber connection was in ********** street.  He stated that they are working on it.  Then I asked him when the connection would be "live", to which he responded with "hopefully soon".  I understood "live" as they have merged the fiber together.  I relayed exactly what **** was telling me to the Knights.  I was under the assumption it was already inside of the conduit in the street, but again, I'm not an engineer or work for Vyve.  I also relayed this to the developer of the phase that internet was not live.  He said he would check in to it as his part was done at putting in infrastructure for them.

On the next text message I uploaded from the 24th of April, I asked again if they will be pulling wire and asked if they can work on their address first.  His response was "They should be pulling wire this week God willing.  Yes sir as soon as the wiring is ready I'll hook them up."  I also asked if I can rent a hot spot for the clients and he stated no.  I did tell them I would ask to help with their bill.  I went to the local provider in town and they did not have any hot spots.  I then went to the Tri-Cities area just to locate and purchase a hotspot, which I even added more data to.  On April 25th, I sent a text to our Vyve/********* contact asking again for an update and he said not yet, but they have a meeting in the morning.  I also called him during these times relaying the importance of them getting internet as it was affecting the livelihood of my clients.  I have been selling real estate since February of 2014 and never had a complaint to the Better Business Bureau.  I take this complaint very seriously and I truly apologize if they felt this way.  However, I did try my best as the middle person in all of this.  I am, however, very upset and appalled at being called a liar and receiving such hateful response. I'm just hoping it's not because of my last name and ethnicity.  I didn't even receive a thank you for the hot spot.  As of today, the owner of the development is very upset and he called ****** from Vyve and he said they would be be finishing by next week.
