Cattle Dog Construction LLC Response

Hey there ******
I'm sorry you had a bad experience with us. Prior to your review of us on this platform, we have reached out with a phone call and an email to try to help you resolve your problem. The guys worked long and hard painting your house and your deck, and I'm truly sorry that you are unhappy and consider me a man who doesn't take pride in my work.
With that said, we completed our contractual obligations with you, and went back the following year, at no cost to you, to address and resolve the problems you had with paint peeling off your deck. At that point you were satisfied with the resolution.
Just because we worked with you once does not mean we are obligated to work with you on future projects. And because of how unhappy you are with our last project, the documented inappropriate physical contact you initiated with me on 9/26/2022, the final payment check you wrote me then immediately cancelled after we had left, the solicitations for side work you have made to my crew, and the volume of dog f**** we had to clean off our drop cloths, tools, shoes, and vehicles as a result of you encouraging your dogs to go to the bathroom in the paved driveway, right next to my work van, directly where we are working, I am standing by my decision to not engage in any new contracts with you. That decision is final.
However, I am still willing to send someone out to take a look at your deck, free of charge, and see if we can resolve this problem for you, if you are willing to sign a contract stating that you will maintain 5 feet of distance between yourself and any employee of Cattle Dog Construction LLC at all times when they are on your property, and clean all dog f**** off your driveway prior to our arrival. I will not engage with you again on this platform, or any other platform other than direct email. If you are interested in resolving this issue, feel free to email me.
If you are reading this interaction, let it be a warning to you. If you live in Western Washington and have a deck that was painted with latex paint and is peeling, listen to your contractor when he advises you to replace the decking in lieu of repainting your deck. Decks painted with latex paint will always have problems in the *****************. You are better off saving your money until you can afford to replace the decking, rather than wasting your money on hiring someone to repaint your deck, especially when they advise you that it is not a permanent solution.
*********************, Owner, Cattle Dog Construction LLC
