On April 12, 2022 I had a scheduled appointment for my canine, Pepper, to be Euthanized. At the appointment I filled out a document which stated what after care would take place for her remains. I chose and paid for "Private Cremation." After the procedure, I was told that in about a week they would contact me to let me know I could come back to retrieve my beloved Pepper's remains. On April 22, I received a phone call from Central Valley Animal that there had been some sort of mix up and they put in orders for Pepper to be group cremated. They offered to pay back the fee for appointment on April 12. Later that day, I went to the office to see copies of what documents were signed on April 12. I filled out everything correctly. I asked to speak to the owner, a woman behind the counter said,"She is off today. I just texted her and told her that you want to speak to her." I left after getting my copies and refund with a emotionally torn feeling of broken trust. The owner did not call me until April ******************************************************************************************** Nobody asked me while I was in the office what day and time would be best. She also stated in her message that I could call her back at their regular office number. She stated we could talk and I could let her know if there was anything she could do. I called on April 29 and left a message. It is May 24 and she has still not returned my call.
