If you have a car in need of repairs, definitely take it to ******** They will back up their work unlike any automotive repair place I have ever come across. Thank you *****'s for restoring my faith in the automotive repair industry and humanity.

My daughter brought her car in to Jerrys with a coolant leak. While there, they told her the rear brakes needed replacement for an additional $500+. Due to the cost, my daughter requested to delay the brake work, but Jerrys said it was a safety hazard that had to be repaired immediately. When the coolant leak and brake work was done (for over $1200), she was told they found a head gasket leak that would cost an additional $3000 to repair. Repairs are now more than the value of the car. When my wife told ***** that the car should have been tested for the head gasket leak, at least before the brake work was done, ***** said that we were irresponsible parents shouldnt have sent their daughter to college in an unreliable car. Those comments were false and unwarranted: The vehicle has always been well maintained and reliable until this point.The mechanic who did the work was apologetic, particularly about the brake installation, but did nothing to remedy the situation. ***** was rude and disrespectful, but he did reduce the repair cost of the coolant and brake work to $600 on a car that is no longer serviceable.Jerry's Auto Repair Response

We do our very best to process each car in this priority: 1) customer's immediate concern, 2) safety, **************************, 4) preventive maintenance. We found the rear brakes completely worn out -which is a 2) safety concern. We report all our findings to our customers with cost estimates based on the prioritized listed above. We simply present the information with no pressure. In this case the daughter approved the brake repair -she did not request that we delay the repair. If she had we would not have proceeded with the brake repair. Afterward we were disappointed to find out that the car needed an expensive head gasket repair. Apparently the car had a long history of overheating issues and self repairs that were not relayed to us when the car was dropped off. I wish we hadn't found the expensive head gasket problem but I'm glad that we were able to give a 1/2 refund on repairs. Again, I wish that the head gasket was not defective but this is not something we would have known in advance.Customer Response

******* DID strongly push the brake work despite my daughter asking to delay it, and there were never any overheating issues with this vehicle. I appreciate them working with us on the cost, but due to the statements here and the poor customer service I will not use or recommend ******* in the future.
