DRA evicted me for my apartment without any actual proof other than neighbor complaints.I talked to DRA multiple times but since my neighbors apparently have better jobs they believe them instead of **** was in an abusive relationship and had to move out quickly and kept them informed of my situation but they still did nothing to help. Sent eviction letters to my apartment knowing I had moved out and claimed they personally handed them to me which is false. They changed their story once I confronted them.So I missed my court date and was evicted, which made a huge impact on my life.I begged them to work with me but they refused.Lastly, they billed me $1400 for damages to the apartmentWhich if you look at my move in inspection most of these damages were from the previous tenant. They didnt have the apartment ready when they said they would and I needed to move in. They promised that they would come in and fix the issues within the next 2 weeks. I called and called for them to come and they never showed up.Now Im forced to foot the bill and no one will help me.They are also claiming they sent me letters (which I never received) and are now garnishing $400 out of my checks! This is ridiculous.I cant believe that Ive begged and pleaded with them to help me now I have an eviction for no reason and I owe $1400 for lots oaf things I didnt do!All because I believed and trusted them. They need to be out of business. This seems to be a common occurrence.

*** is charging me for 2 things that were broken when I did my initial walk through and were on my check in list. Light bulbs and and the living room curtain. They also are asking for 8 hours of cleaning when I left the apartment spotless. There were some dust ***** under the refrigerator and the stove and the nephew of ***** the owner said I could go ahead and clean it before he left and I did. He also said the floors looked like they were in great shape. Another thing to know is that the new person leasing the apartment moved in first thing in the morning. They would have had to have a cleaning crew waiting for me when I left in order to charge me the 8 hours of cleaning. This is just an over charge that they think they can get away with because I spend 3 days cleaning that apartment and vacuumed ot 3 times before I left. Something interesting to note is that ***** has family doing all the repairs, cleaning and check out. I'm very frustrated that they are charging things that are dishonest and they need to be accountable.

      Good Morning

I have reviewed the file and spoken to the contractors who did the check out cleaning and repairs I have also reviewed the pictures.

You are right that you noted the sliding door blind on your check out and I was unable to find a bill that it had been repaired. That is the only item you were charged for in repairs that total labor and materials is 191.71.  The cleaner says she spent 8.5 hours to clean it but in reviewing the pictures the kitchen sinks needed cleaning the oven was fairly clean but needed  some additional cleaning. the tracks in the windows needed to be cleaned  the toilets and tub still needed some cleaning. I believe that 2 hours would have taken care of this.  i have asked for a refund of ****** from the cleaner to refund to you.  I have contractors who do the work for my owners.  I will send a refund check in the amount of ****** the charge per your lease for mailing of **** will stay and 2 hours of cleaning.  please contact me if you have any further questions or need something.

      thank you

overcharged for rent payments and charged unfair late fees for a "misplaced" check that was later deposited after the fee was given to the tenants. When going through the payment ledger the payments made to DRA by the tenants is more than what was charged to the tenants originally, yet there is still an unexplained fee required by the tenants. Following a request, evidence can be given in regard to this complaint.
