My 3 kids were part of an organization locally known as The Dance Academy of ********, or TDA (hereafter referred to as TDA ). On May 11th 2023, I requested via two texts sent to ********************************** (Co owner with ***************************) of TDA, that ***** stop bullying my daughter. On Saturday, May 13th, ***** demanded an apology, attempted to bully me into apologizing, and kicked my daughter out of TDA. On May 15th, she sent me an email with a 1 hr 42 min response window demanding an apology, or my other 2 kids would also be kicked out. She also included 4 previously unmentioned allegations against my daughter as grounds to say she had cause to kick out all three children. Other families have done far worse, than that email's allegations, but have not been dismissed. For example, in April, my other daughter was kicked in the jaw by another TDA student so hard her jaw swelled, tooth punctured her lip, and blood was everywhere. She now has a permanent scar. TDA did nothing except tell kids to be careful, and demand I take down a post showing the injury, stating it could result in a lawsuit.TDA is not a registered business in ****************. Three companies serve as umbrella companies for their business and its funds. 1) LP productions is a for profit busines. TDA is a trademark under LP productions." 2) Positive Programs, a non-profit, is supposed to be the program that helps parents fund raise for competitions. Parents can "volunteer" and receive monetary compensation, which is put towards their dance accounts. In office compensation is worth less than ******** hourly minimum wage. 3) Fir Tree II is a media company associated with TDA.I requested a refund for 12 team dances and 4 solos for nationals, as well as for overcharges to our account, together totalling over 5K. I recieved one email stating ********************* would get back to me. However, to date, no reimbursement or additional response has been recieved.Documents available on request.Business response
