We specifically asked for a 4wd vehicle and told the company it was for a drive to ********. 1st We get the jeep it was dirty, not a big deal, but it was just the start of a list of problems with this company. My daughter missed her 1sT practice at the Olympic training center because we were given a vehicle with bald tires to drive through the worst blizzard we've ever experienced. My husband and children's lives were put at risk when they slipped and slid for 8 hours (it should have taken them 4 hours) because there was zero traction. I called to get the vehicle swapped out and was told the closest place they could exchange the car was at the actual destination of ******** springs so my family was forced to continue with the unsafe jeep. I spoke with a gentleman in coloardo springs and he said he was holding 2 vehicles for my husband to choose from once he got there but when my husband went to swap it out that was not the case. Now my husband was told he had to drive all the way to ****** to get a vehicle that would get them home safely. Once they get home and talk to the man who rented us the car he's response to the situation was "I can't check all the vehicles" and tells me to call customer service. I then call customer service and they apologize and say they are giving us a FULL refund. Fast forward a few days and they only refunded half the money so I call again and the guy assures me the other half is being refunded I wait longer and still see nothing so I give them a call and was told they will not be refunding me 100% and then hang up on me. My husband was physically sick because of the stress and anxiety that was put on him driving this unsafe vehicle with our 2 children.Business response
