I am writing to file a formal complaint against Warmoth regarding my recent experience with their products and services. I believe that my case warrants your attention due to a defective product and an unfair restocking fee, which I find to be in violation of fair business practices.I made two consecutive purchases at Warmoth for one project, consisting of a guitar replacement neck (Order #*****, cost $418.39) and a guitar body (Order #*****, cost $605.51). Unfortunately, the first order, the guitar replacement neck, was delivered with a significant defect the nut was unevenly cut, rendering it unusable. Despite Warmoth's website claim of providing neat installations, the nut was not only cut incorrectly but also glued to the guitar, making it difficult to remove without damage.Given the defect in the guitar neck, I had to make changes and efforts to correct the issue. Consequently, the product is now altered and unavailable for return and refund. This defect significantly impacted my project and compelled me to cancel my second order (Order #*****) for the guitar body. The cancellation of the second order was a direct result of the defective product from the first order, and I find it unjust that I am being charged a restocking fee of $134.77 for this cancellation.I am filing this complaint to bring attention to Warmoth's responsibility for the defective product and the subsequent negative impact on my second order. The restocking fee should not be imposed on customers when the cancellation is a direct result of the company's failure to deliver a satisfactory product.I urge the Better Business Bureau to investigate this matter thoroughly and take appropriate action to ensure that Warmoth rectifies the situation by waiving the restocking fee and addressing the quality control issues in their products.Thank you for your attention to this matter.Customer response

I would like to inform you of the recent update regarding my complaint against Warmoth. The ******** Service Supervisor at ******************** has responded to my concerns and has offered to refund the restock fee for order 62178-1 ($134.77).
I want to express my gratitude to the Better Business Bureau for facilitating the communication and helping to address this issue. I couldn't imagine resolving the problem without your help. Your assistance is greatly appreciated.Initial Complaint

This vendor does not follow stated policies or terms of service. My card has been charged and refunded multiple times. Particularly, *********************** (the service manager) has been problematic.Business response
