On January 10th, 2023 we had a technician come out to our home to clean our chimney. We were informed the work could not be completed without a chimney crown replacement/repair, unclear of exact of what work was needed. When the work was completed 45 minutes later, the technician had cleaned **** off, sealed a few cracks, put some water barrier down, and painted the crown with water resistant paint. The final cost for chimney clean out and a paint repair was $1824.97. I paid $925.97 up front. He left and then had to come back and finish the job for the initial hire because it was not completed. They never sent us photos of the work completed as we requested. We called the company to speak to a manager to ask them to explain why it cost $1400 for tape and paint. We never received a called back. We called them everyday for 1 week, then once per week for a few weeks. On 2/14/23 we received a call for the balance remainder, I informed the lady "***" that I would not be paying the remainder until we spoke to the manager whom never reached out. We received no call. On 2/16/23 at 10:00 AM the original technician "****" came to our home unannounced, telling my husband he would rip down the chimney and threatened my husband approaching him aggressively for not paying. My husband informed him he needed to leave the property immediately. "****" left. We called the company immediately, they said they would call the technician and call us back. *** called us back informing us she had spoke to **** and told him to "go home and not go to any of his other jobs for the day." **** continued to circle our home 3 more times. We finally received a call at 11:50 AM from the manager "***" who stated "I do not care what my employee did, you owe us a debt." "If you do not pay, we will come back on our own time and take down the chimney." We have been threatened with defacement of property by this company. The headquarter location quotes us $500-$800 for a crown repair.
