    For a dentist however not specifically care related - hippa not relevant. Feb 23, 22 went to office to purchase a product. Was told I had an outstanding charge of $75 for short term cancelation. I reviewed the day this was in question & debated the responsibility of it since it was over 24 hrs prior to the appt, canceled, & was Covid exposure related. Was not told of a charge but irrelevant as I was exposed to Covid so couldnt go. Sun Dec 5, 21. Called to cancel. No one there in the office. Mon Dec 6, 21 12:48pm dentist reached out via text. I replied that I left vm. End of communication. (Over 24 hrs prior)4:55pm I reached out again to dentist as had not heard any sort of confirmation that they received my vm, cancelation, or texts. Tues Dec 7, 21 6:48am finally a response back via text telling me I would be charged $75. I responded absolutely not. I tried to call Sunday & the Monday as well as text. Text msg screenshots attached. ****************** were exposed to Covid. In the heat of Covid time I thought it highly irresponsible to go to the dentist of all places when I found out about the Covid positive situation. Called to cancel because of it. They tried to say they didnt hear from me Sun (even though closed so wouldnt matter) but yet did hear from me early Mon to cancel over 24hrs prior to my Tues appt because of Covid. Interestingly enough, when my partner was in there ~ May 12th, 21 for his appt he contracted Covid - in which I did as well. We know it was from his office visit as we had not left the house for 2+ weeks prior. This is exactly why I canceled my Dec 7th appointment. Denti Belli clearly doesnt care about the safety of their patients when a patient cancels over 24hrs prior (48 actually) when exposed to positive Covid individual & gets charged. Instead point finger at me being late for previous appt. was coming from diff dr running extremely behind, called 2x as heads up and still made it there for svcs
