Back in May 2023 I called to speak to someone about a bankruptcy, the gentleman did an intake. It only took about 30 minutes and then I paid $95 initially, I tried reaching out multiple times by email text and phone calls every time I would call I would never get anybody, it was really hard to get a hold of people from this office. So I ended up getting billed $100 for two more months June and July. So in total I gave them $295. I asked ******* Majors about a refund because I didnt want to do the bankruptcy filing as I am going to figure out payment plans with the medical bills I have, I dont want to impact my credit score and I think I have a plan is what I had stated to him, he told me to email, the accounting department, I got a reply from *************************, it took them several days to respond to me as she had to get an approval. Then I get an email saying that they billed me $615 for my file. I dont think that this is right for them to take my money and not really do anything and no communication. I would like my $295 refunded.

Due to attorney client privilege and ethical rules- I am not able to respond with specificity to this complaint. Please ask the complainant to provide a copy of our fee agreement- where you will find the terms that relating to our fees and how the fees are earned upon receipt and based on the work completed. I have attempted to contact ************** but he has not responded.

      Thank you,

      Dom Majors

The lead counsel of the law office, ******* Majors, dropped my bankruptcy case after receiving $1800 payment. For five months, Majors and his paralegals have played the paper chase game, where all pretend they do not have the correct documents in the correct format, in order to keep up the illusion they're doing work in order to charge billable hours. Majors repeatedly gaslights with the excuse that he will file the case in bankruptcy court provided that he (or his office staff) receives specific documents. They have the requisite documents to file for bankruptcy, they don't want to do it. When he and his office staff play controlling mind games by claiming the documents are invalid because they're improperly formatted or some other lame excuse indicating they haven't the intention of filing my claim. When I addressed this directly with ******* Majors on 26 July 2022, he refused to refund the money.
