Date of service: 01/16/23 Dacor cooktop 30 year old. First red flag was I was told I couldnt watch because it made the tech nervous. 2nd trip once again was real quick- once again I couldnt watch because tech had me running up and down the steps 5 times to turn power off and on (10 trips in all). Finally all done and gave wife the bill which after she wrote the check and I finally saw the amount and was floored. I questioned the bill and was told it was correct and that I okd the estimate which never happened that was a lie. I would have bought a new stovetop If I knew that amount. I called the company and was told the bill was correct and so I asked for itemization of parts and labor. Parts were way out of line- I was charged about $1500 in parts which on the net I show.To top this off- the stove k*** is still very hard to turn wife still cant turn on the gas. Came to the conclusion small claims court was my only option so I called your local office to get the address so I could serve the papers. Was told by 3 different people they werent allowed to give out the address (why is that). Also *****, 1st off- wife did sign 2 approval signature- both at the same time. The one for the estimate which we never did get one (was signed after job was done). Cooktop was tried and wife noticed k*** was very hard to turn, was told it would loosen up over time????Wife kept smelling gas in the kitchen so she called ****************** (our natural gas company) and he was amazed at the gas leak from the control valve and classified the leak in the in the danger zone. His words were control valve to cooktop producing a hazardous amount of gas. You guys put the safety of my family and house in danger by your incompetence. He was amazed that a company would repair a 30 year old cooktop and even more amazed that it was almost $2000.Its amazing no one in your company uses last name- ************** ??? I do need your last name for the paperwork and this claim might be bigger than what small claims court allows so I will be talking to an attorney.Name of busines Top ******* Appliance Repair Solution DBA E Appliance Repair and HVAC Telephone *************** Local # ************** Work order RC7NXC
