I am writing to dispute baseless charges made by Skye ********************** Apartments to my credit. Despite settling all charges on November 4th and moving out, Skye ********************** placed $104 on my credit through a collection agency. Upon requesting and reviewing the detailed statement provided by Skye **********************, I was appalled to discover over 18 different charges levied after my move-out date.Among these charges were duplicate patrol fees and liability charges, despite my explicit declination of the apartment's liability coverage and my provision of proof of coverage during my tenancy. These charges are entirely unfounded and have severely impacted my credit standing.Despite multiple attempts, I have been unable to reach a manager through numerous phone calls, which were left unanswered. Additionally, I have sent several emails offering to promptly settle the outstanding amount, while requesting the removal of these charges from my credit history. I sought assurance that I would no longer receive any further charges in the future. However, Skye ********************** Apartment has chosen to ignore my reasonable requests. The unwarranted charges and the lack of response from Skye ********************** have caused me significant distress, time, and effort. I am seeking resolution for this matter and urge the Better Business Bureau to intervene to rectify this unjust situation. I demand the immediate removal of the baseless charges from my credit history and an assurance that no further charges will be imposed on my account.Thank you for your attention to this dispute. I trust that the Better Business Bureau will investigate this matter thoroughly and assist in achieving a fair resolution.Business response

Good afternoon,
We have been in contact with ******** in person, over the phone, and now via email regarding his move out charges. There are no duplicate charges which we have explained multiple times. I have also sent the ledger to ******** so he can see for himself that there are not duplicate charges.
For the $12.00 charge this would have been needed to be brought up at the beginning he was being charged as it was never fully approved, otherwise the $12.00 charge would have been removed. I see the attachments ******** provided, but no where do I see an email from POPIC-Mill Creek saying this was approved. There can be a number of reasons an insurance policy would not be approved. Had it been approved, again there would not have been any charges.
We have sent countless emails going over the exact same questions. I have compiled a few emails to provide proof of our responses. ******** is also responding to emails at different times creating confusion I believe on his end. For example attachment 2 he is replying on 07/12/2023 from an email sent back in February 2023. I assure there are no duplicate charges. If there's any other information needed for this I am happy to send. Part of my attachment did not attach because the file is too large but I'm happy to send the move out pictures if needed.
Please let me know if there are any questions and I'm happy to help.
Thank you,
*******************
