3 years of service to this business and there continued to be major repairs needed every year. The men are rude, unprofessional and everyone gives different information. I've spent thousands of dollars and there was problem after problem. I had to even continue to replace tires multiple times. I didn't feel comfortable with this shop and finally went to a different shop. I found out weeks later after being charged for a diagnostic three times. 2 at this shop and 1 at the new shop. I had over $2500 in repairs. They informed me nothing came up for any work done on my car with my Vin number but the bill of sell from 2019. They stated all the parts in my car are original manufactured parts from when thr car was made. I have all my receipts for all services that I paid full price for. They wouldn't even honor a warranty on two of my tires that I continued having slow leaks on. I was told one week I had a warranty the next week the warranty was not honored. I'm a single mother with some medical health problems so I don't have a lot of money to have back to back car repairs. Especially if the shop is being dishonest and suspected of placing used parts in cars. They're is no reason why no repair work for over 3 years was not reported with my cars Vin number. FYI-I HAVE TOO MANY RECIPTS TO SUBMIT ONLINE, BUT I AM HAPPY TO MAIL COPIES IF SOMEONE CAN CONTACT ME WITH AN APPROPRIATE ADDRESS TO FOWARD THEM TOBusiness response

*********** Location off of ******************************* Way is not affiliated with our location. These locations have completely different owners and staff. I do not have any records in my system for **************** but our point of sale systems are not linked because we have different ownership. I apologize that this was their experience but I am not able to resolve any issues with that location. The owner of that location, Son, may be able to assist further but I am not sure how often he is at that location. Our location is ****************************************************

I am rejecting this response because: My tires and or rims have nothing to do with the continued poor lack of customer service from this auto shop. I had to take my car to a new shop with receipts of all the previous work. When my vin was pulled nothing was showing up. The new shop was concerned because they couldn't find any work history outside of my receipts. Within one weeks time of Points telling me nothing was wrong with my car while it was overheating. The new shop found multiple problems. They found issues with work I had a warranty on but I no longer trusted Points. I previously had my breaks redone by points and and just last month had to replace them on one side. Points wouldn't even honor the warranty I purchased on the last 2 tires I replaced. One week they confirmed my warranty was good the next I was told I did not have a warranty. They continued to place ***** match tires on my car when I specifically told them I want all of them to be the same model and brand. The list goes on and on. I feel as a woman most mechanics being men try to take advantage and get over. The customer service on how woman are treated even spoken to is much different from how men are addressed. I don't agree because speaking about my tires is irrelevant to my concerns. I've had more than one 2nd opinion about my tires and no one agrees.

Affordable tire and brake is a independent auto repair shop and does not send repairs to Carfax. Everything that is invoiced is in our store data base. 1 year warranty or ***** miles wichever comes first. As with the tires being mismatch. we supply whatever is available since she buys entry level tires. due to covid and overseas shipping problems. If we cannot get same brand tires we will provide whats comparable to what customer has. customer is always advised of brand before purchasing. please reach out anytime. We have been serving our community for over 20 years whether its female or male and treat every customer with respect.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: They just stated they don't report anything to carfax. Since leaving this shop I have had to place my car back in the shop 4 times. POINTS AFFORDABLE charged me for work on my car that the new shop has had to do over because it was not properly done correctly. Now my car has damages that is making it cost more money to keep my car running. I have receipts that I'm more than happy to share. My car started off with all 4 matching tires. Each time I purchased new tires I asked then to match them and they kept ordering different tires. I was unaware until I needed to buy a new tire. The new shop assured me that my car has the original manufactured parts from when my car was made. My car is a ****. They did not repair my gasket pan correctly and the new shop looked ant my receipts and seen I have a warranty and because points is untrustworthy I didn't feel comfortable going back to them. Now I had to pay again for it to be done correctly at my new shop and my car has damage to my transmission. Points keeps trying to make it be about tires and its bigger than tires. I'm disabled and a parent and was driving in my car and totally unaware that it was not safe to drive due to the negligence and poor service from points affordable. My new auto shop was concerned and informed me they could not tell my car was worked on outside of me having all my records. They even placed a defective steering rod in and had to replace it. I have all my records even my passed inspection.

Here at Affordable tire and brake mlk has a warranty of 12 months ***** mile whichever comes 1st. If there was any concern of anything done should of been addressed here. Which was never the case. We would love to see the invoices of work done that was not done (saying by the other shop. As of tires being match and unmatch. Customer is well aware of tires that we install before bought. Brand is shown on receipt. We can provide all service records we have on file. Thank youCustomer response

Here are all my receipts for the work done on my car after I stopped having it service at-

I also have all my receipts and records for my car including the bill of sell. The car was purchased by my mother for me to specifically get to and from my medical doctors appointments. I have been financially responsible for all the repair work on this vehicle.
The new shop changed their shop name from Good ************* Services & *********** to ***************************. **************************************

I am rejecting this response because: They continue to go around in circles. My original complaint requesting an investigation is bigger than tires. Not once has this shop taken accountability for anything. Regarding tires since they wish to deflect that me allowing them to service my car left me with a car that was not safe to drive. Anytime I tried to address my concerns I was not listened to as a customer and always argued down. I finally decided to go to a different shop after being told nothing was wrong with my car but it was overheating back to back. That's when I was informed that my car had serious repairs and was no safe to drive. They showed video documentation on what they found. Since I've paid several thousand dollars in repairs trying to keep my car running. They identified from looking over my receipts and physically working on my car that my car still had all the original manufactured parts. There words the parts were literally falling out of my car. My ****** pan kit was improperly installed by points and I still had a warranty on it. Why would I keep taking my car back to a shop that is dishonest and causing more damage to my car. They wouldn't even honor the warranty on 2 of my tires. The last 2 tires I replaced I was advised to get a warranty on them that's what I paid for. I had a slow leak and they patched one of the warranty tires. A week later the same tire was slowly leaking again. Upon asking for them to replace the tire the owner refused and ***** argued me down saying now there was no warranty. I started out with 4 matching tires and they continued to order Mos match tires. I requested that they match them back up when I discovered they placed 3 different brands of tires on my car. I find out after paying for the tires that they still weren't matching up afterwards. My new shop advised me due to me having to pay for a new gasket pan kit, breaks on my rear a 2nd time that because the previous gasket kit was placed incorrectly it caused major damage to my car especially my transmission. Now I have to look for a new car. So again this is bigger than just tires. Not once has the shop reached out directly to me. I've been receiving calls from people that know me asking what's going on with my car and points. Why are they contacting other people about my car instead of me. I'm a single parent and I need my car running properly to get to and from my medical appointments. I'm on disability and can't miss my appointments. This situation is causing further stress to my health. Overall I'm a woman and my experience with this shop has left me with a large distaste of autoshops. I feel lied to and taking advantage of. I will never recommend anyone to this shop, not even to replace something as simple as a tire. Again I have my records and have no problem asking for a statement in writing from the current shop who has been working on my car. I have been extremely overwhelmed and shocked when I was made aware myself, family members as well my daughter were physically on the road in my car while it was unsafe to drive. When my car breaks down again because of the poor lack of service that caused tremendous damage on my car than what....? This shop still hasn't reached out directly to me to try and resolve anything or make it right.

I am rejecting this response because: I did not have a conversation with Points about sending over any invoices or paperwork. He called at 1:30 pm today. I immediately told him I was out addressing some personal business and did not have any information to pass along to him. He baggered me and demanded I tell him what services were re done on my car that they supposedly didn't do correctly his words verbatim. I agian told him I was not available to speak and I submitted documentation to the BBB already. He asked if I would return a phone call later today or tomorrow. I immediately called the person over the complaint to make them aware I feel like I'm being harassed by points. I didn't agree or tell them I was going to send them anything. They continue to be dishonest and lie about everything. I do not feel comfortable speaking with them and moving forward. I would prefer to correspond with the support of the BBB. Agian I have not had any communication with Points and the phone call today I did not agree or tell them I was going to send them any documentation. I made it clear I submitted my invoices to the BBB

We tried contacting customer and ask what services was redone by other shop. customer declined. I called the other shop to see what was done that we have done that was supposed to be under warranty here. they said nothing was under warranty. We here at affordable tire and brake just want to resolve this and see what is going on. thank you. customer states other shop had to redo service that was done here. but there is no evidence at other shop. please ask customer to provide reciepts thats done here at affordable tire that had to be redone at other shop. thank you. there is a standard warranty of 12 months or ***** mile whichever comes first.Customer response

Points Affordable continues to refuse to take any accountability or acknowledge anything. I've stated I have every receipt from both shops of services I've paid for. Points has not tried to resolve anything. What they have done is continue to be harassing and dishonest. They have contacted people that know me and now they contacted my current shop asking for information about my car. How is that ok to do. It's invasive and inappropriate. These are 2 different shops not under with different owners. I declined to speak to Points because they continue to lie. I will contact my shop to get copies of my reports from the work that has been completed and done over.Sincerely,

I never stated I was going to contact my shop for reports. I stated I was going to contact them in regards to asking has anyone contacted them requesting information about myself or work done on my care. The receipts of work they completed and redid were emailed to the agent corresponding over my complaint. The reports are virtual that were sent via email. I'm not understanding why I need to give anything to the autoshop in question. I haven't had any time to even address the new shop again because my car is currently breaking down. I'm doing my best to keep it running right now. There are still major problems. I have medical obligations that take precedence. Again the shop in question has not tried to resolve anything. They are being dishonest and harassing. The 2 minute phone call they demanded information and completely lied on me. Which is why I did not call back. I don't trust them and will not speak to them without a witness.Business response

I am rejecting this response because: ***** since my original complaint. I had to take my car to another autoshop which I found out the previous services I paid for were never reported to carfax. Following there was major repair work needed where my car was not safe to drive. Points kept guarantee that nothing was wrong everytime they looked at my car. Because I felt i could no longer trust their word I took my car somewhere else. They showed me that the parts in my car were original manufactured parts from when my car was made. They also redid some work over because it wasn't properly done by points. Work that had a warranty on it but I refused to go back to Points because they are dishonest and wouldn't even honor 2 tires that I purchased warranty on. So now my car has permanent damage.

I have every receipt from Points Affordable as well the new shop. So again them showing this means what. I showed all of this to my new shop and they determined that when they go under my hood they couldn't see any proof of this work other than me having a receipt for it. They said my parts were so old they just fell out of my car. They were very concerned. They had to redo my gasket kit as well my rear breaks recently.
