I noticed a collection placed on my credit report by a company called ****************** Services, a ********************* For $3,000 +. I requested the ************************************ to request any documents from the company for what this in regards to. The company uploaded an un signed P.O from Lake Union Searay from June 2017. This P.O had handwriting on it that said ************************* and his Brother *********************, The P.O had my phone number listed as ************, my phone number is ************, they also had a very old address of mine. I have taken my boat to Union marine formerly Lake Union Searay in July of 2021 and paid around $3000 to have some work done. I have also had service completed by Lake union Searay in the past on another occasion. When I noticed the collection on my credit report and realised it was from Union Marine via CFPB, I called Union Marine to see what this was about, they (the service **** and front desk) could not find anything in their system. Finally after about 4 weeks they referred me to their (controller). After a month, he explained to me that it was in regards to a mobile order performed on my boat, I explained that, that service order dollar amount was different from the amount from the random P.O I received from the collection agency, after a couple weeks he emailed me and said that you are correct it was not a mobile service order it was a on site location order from the ******* location. I do recall numerous times in the past contacting lake union sea ray for quotes, more than 2-3 times. I requested Union Marine to send me proof of any kind that this service was done, they sent me the same un signed P.O with their hand writing on it, no proof at all. They also sent me two different P.Os, One containing my correct pone number, the other one with the hand writing on it containing the ************ phone number. To me it looked like they changed the phone number on a fresh P.O recently. The controller informed me that I ordered this service in 2017, and my brother **** ordered service in 2021. However I, ******, paid for the service in 2021 and ordered the service as this is my vessel. Also this item is on my brothers credit report, contrary to what Union Marine explained to me that I owe the money not ****. They also ripped my vinyl and cut my fibreglass on the boat while performing this work, which they kindly said that they would fix. Union Marine acknowledged that they had records of this damage that still needs to be fixed by them. I'm in the process now of filing to remove this item and feel Union Marine should tell this collection agency to delete this as it violated FCRA laws.

I am familiar with this situation and have review the work order in question. I have attached the technicians copy of the  work order with all the tech notes for the work performed. From reading the complaint, **************** is requesting proof of work that was performed. This is shown on the technicians copy of the work order provided. **************** and his brother seem to alternate in bringing the boat in for service so it has been a little tricky to get all the pieces of history pulled together. The work on the attached work order was completed as requested by the customer, and was most likely approved via phone at that time. It doesn't seem **************** is disputing the work, but looking for an authorization for repairs? Most of our customers authorize work via phone or email depending on their logistics. There are notes on other work orders for **************** authorizing work via phone which is common for our customers. I do not see a record of any gelcoat damage or upholstery damage in the file at this time.

I am rejecting this response because:

This service was never performed, they also placed an illegal collection and didnt even address this issue that I mentioned in my previous compliant message. They also didnt address the incorrect contact info that was modified intentionally recently on the p.o they sent. Them not addressing these key issues yet again further reassures them avoiding these items.

      Sincerely,

      *************************
