I pay 500$ to salmon bay boat yard let them to check my boat engine problem. The engine sometime stop working. They told me the sensor has problem if replace sensor they need to charge another 1300$ . I agree and they replace the sensor but they did not. Fix the engine problem. They told me the engine still stop working but they need to charge me the full 1300$ service fee. They didnt make the right diagnosis they didnt solve the problem. I dont think I should pay them the full amount 1300$.Business response

The sensor did not fix the boat. We could see it went off 4 times when we hooked up our computer. We had to eliminate this sensor. We took the boat out multiple times. The issue is intermittant and takes 45 minutes to show up. After changing the sensor it was still not resolved. The client decided to take his boat un resolved. The boat also has not had a tune up or impeller in 5 years. We suggested cleaning the injectors and looking into the fuel pump. The client did not want to proceed with this portion and cancelled. All the time that we worked on it DOES apply as we dont work for free during troubleshooting. Thank you, We are sorry that boats cost money to fix.
