This is a fraudulent marine repair business, the owner played with the "total cost" for each and every transaction with **, ends up damaging our boat instead of repairing it and then threatens to put a lien on our boat if we didn't pay his "random," total cost owed. Even when there is written down hourly rates for specific services in their office - it doesn't matter in "his" world and he'll make sure you know. This business needs to be shut down asap, they are 100% crooks - the owner is the one who instills this behavior and attitude into his employee's. BEWARE OF THIS BUSINESS - RUN AWAY FAST - *********************, **Seattle Mobile Marine LLC Response

That's funny ****, just read my name and think back... You do know who I am and acting clueless about fraudulent business services that your business provided just proves my point that much more. We had to get our boat towed out of your boatyard! ! Great response back.. Also this business recently took down his ****** Business Profiles for Salmon Bay Boat Yard/Seattle Mobile Marine due to a overwhelming amount of 1 star reviews. Make sure to check their Yelp pages because can't take that down. Karma will always come back to bite you hard. BAD BUSINESSReview from L. R.

Buyer beware! I wish we would have read these reviews before taking our boat to Seattle Mobile Marine Service LLC. They basically held our boat hostage for over a month, it was one thing after another. They clearly do not value their clients and a recurring theme seems to be that they keep finding issues that need to be fixed, wait for parts, "need to take it out and test it again". All while the price goes up and up. The day before we refused any further service and said we were coming to pick up the boat, they refunded our credit card payment (payment in full in advance by the way), and would not release our boat until we paid cash. You are forced to sign a release digitally that says you are satisfied, whether you are or not. They've obviously had credit card disputes in the past so are cushioning themselves. The owner response to the other reviews speak volumes. "Sorry not sorry!" Upon picking up the boat, we found areas of damage, missing screws, and a missing key. No way would we go back here for resolution of these issues, we took care of these things ourselves. Think twice about doing business with these folks.Seattle Mobile Marine LLC Response

They took the boat unresolved. So of course it was not put back together. We advised that the impeller needed to be changed. So they took our advice on it and did it themselves. That is the reason ***** did not mention a resolution as she thinks she is so smart. This boat had multiple issues and the fuel pump was not working. Their was a parts hold thru ******** we are not a dealer. This is a rare thing so that explains the wait. ***** put almost 400 hours on her boat in 2 years. Yet she wants to slander us when it gets held up for a couple of weeks due to repair and maintenance. ***** lost her credit card rights due to a poor attitude as you can tell above. We are here to help not become part of your problem. Welcome to Boating!Customer Response

This response is no surprise and speaks volumes about how the owner treats customers.Review from James B

$185 an hour with minimum 2 hours and a $200 service call with tax and everything $660 . For a guy to show up at 9am and scan engine and not correctly diagnose boat issue .just said i think its wiring harness . I have to go so I can get to next job by 11 . Leaves at 10:15 am . i paid $660 for only one of my engines to be scanned?? No diagnoses ! Why would I pay so much money for 1 hour of mechanic to scan one engine and get no better off than when he started except 669 bucks less in my bank . He says I just think its this . I tryed to call them and get no response . several text and saying Im going to just leave a negative review then I get a response .saying we used our expensive scanner . i informed him I just bought a fancy scanner for 800 and can do it myself . I asked for both engines to be scanned to make sure they were good but he only did one . Had to get to next job before mine was even done . Mechanic says call me and I will come back but nothing !!Seattle Mobile Marine LLC Response

We did everything the client needed. Including clearing all codes on both motors. We did this in the 2 hour minimum. The boat owner thought we should be able to do a lake test in this time. Extra time needed and the boat owner is not happy. Welcome to boating as we are just the messengers. As far as we know the code did not come back. We also detected a short in the harness which is would be worked on the next visit. The boat owner seems to think he gets all of his issues resolved in the minimum amount of time. That is no the case on this boat.Review from Brien H.

Seattle Mobile Marine is a horrible place to take your boat. I got a verbal estimate over the phone and took it in. The next business day I received a completely different estimate with all kinds of different "fees." When they called me, I said I wanted to decline service and would come get my boat. They then told me if I wanted my boat back -> $525 for lift fees. The counter of their shop shows 1 hour minimum at 125 per hour for lift. How did you get $525? After the "President" **** intimidated me into signing a document saying he "met or exceed my expectations" I could get my boat only if I paid CASH. The way they threatened me and intimidated me was horrible. On top of it, my back sliding doors won't open because someone tried to break into my boat. I have my boat back which is the most important thing. This business needs to be properly rated. DO NOT GO HERE. They operate the Salmon Bay Boat Yard. One in the same.1 star because the system won't allow me to give ZERO which is what they deserve.Seattle Mobile Marine LLC Response

Brien, This is amazing as you had no questions or comments on pick up. You cancelled and even thanked us. We charged you to the lift the boat out for an estimate. I'm sorry you wanted everything for FREE. We are for profit and have to support our families. You have a 200K toy, Please grow up! No one tried to break in either scammer.Customer Response

I think the response from **** speaks for itself. He is extremely unprofessional and yes I changed my demeanor to get my boat back after being yelled at by his employee and told that "You better pay up or we keep your boat!" All I think any consumer wants is to charged what is PUBLISHED. **** says one thing and then once your boat is out of the water, he has you. Take a look at other 1 star reviews on **** and Salmon Bay Boat Yard and Seattle Mobile Marine on Yelp or ******* They all say the same thing. These guys are crooks. The published price for lift out was $125 each way. By my math that is $250 not $525. ****** math is about the same as his ability to run a business. Buyer BEWARE!
