    I paid $393.26 to https://nwmaids.com on 8/4 to clean our house. They were supposed to arrive between **** a.m. I took off work to be there. No one showed up. When I called at 10:15 they assured me someone would be there by 11:15 a.m. That didn't happen. I called again. I was told they were on their way and stuck in traffic. Another hour goes by. We're told they were sick. Then it was car troubles. Every time I called they said they're "10 minutes away." I asked to speak to a manager and was told "they're on a biz call & will call back within 24 hours." Hours go by. At 2:30 p.m. a cleaner shows up with a dog. She let the dog in and it immediately defecated on our expensive rug. She spends the next 30 minutes cleaning her ************* while my husband tried to get the stain out of the rug. We put her dog on the porch (the only other option was leaving it in a hot car and that is cruel). We also had to clean up dog urine off the porch and welcome mat. She finally starts cleaning at 3 p.m. and is very slow. I express my concerns and am told she will finish in 2-3 hours. That didn't happen. She only cleaned half of the house & left items like used fake eyelashes on our (uncleaned) coffee table. I finally had to ask her to leave at 8:40 p.m. because we get up early & needed to go to bed. I called, emailed, & texted, trying to get in touch with a manager. I report what happened. I am offered a 10% discount & told the manager "was on a biz call." They offer to reclean house and rug (they are not a professional rug cleaning company; no thanks). Plus, they have already damaged our property & put us through h*** for the day. Why would I want to repeat that experience? That is unacceptable. I would like $393.26 back &am not accepting a partial refund. I will need to clean my rug and get new cleaners. There is no longer a visible stain on the rug due us cleaning it, but I have OCD and GAD and having a luxury rug w/their dog p*** on it is not ok. We never heard from a manager.

    Hello! I wanted to let my neighbors know about a pretty awful experience I had with a cleaning service, NW Maids, last week. I booked a "deep clean" for $300. They sent two men to my home. Among other things, they had forgotten a mop and a broom. The result of this deep clean was laughable as they simply did not clean many of my basic surfaces. No floors were mopped and my stovetop and sink were untouched during this "deep clean". I didn't photograph it all, but I attached a few pictures of my nasty sink and floor post-clean, attached. The worst part was that these two men did not behave like professional cleaners (partly because they clearly did not know how to clean). It was so uncomfortable that afterward, I couldn't help but wonder whether they had come into my home with other intentions. It felt sort of violating to be in my own home having to convince myself that nothing weird was going on, or worse, that I wasn't in danger, for hours. Their behavior was just off for how people coming into your private space should behave. One of the two was talking badly about the other to me when the other left the room, and adjusted the ** without asking before announcing to me that he had done so (felt like a strange power move). The other got stuck outside for an hour while he was supposed to be cleaning. I was upset with the quality of the clean as well as the overall experience, and I did not let up on customer ********************** for a week. I told them everything, sent them pictures, and I cannot emphasize enough how little they cared. They refused to offer a refund and said that the areas that were "missed" only came out to a $75 credit that equated to a "standard clean" instead of a "deep clean." I guess a standard clean doesn't involve cleaning any surfaces at NW Maids? And why would a self-respecting company require that I photograph every inch of my apartment after providing more than enough evidence that I did not get anything I had paid for? NW Maids = the worst.
