we bought about 20, 6 pack boxes of this coffee at ******* after Christmas, around $5 each box. Regular $15. The coffee is supposed to have flavors that we can't taste. Some of the coffee is discolored. We called the company because ******* is refusing to take back after christmas items & told us to contact company. Bean Box company doesn't make the coffee they work with small batch suppliers around the world and told us not everyone has the taste buds to actually taste the coffee. The box needs to state this fact. That your buying coffee that is advertised as all these extra flavors, that most people can't taste. I really don't get it. Bean box refused to do anything about the issues with coffee telling us to call ******* so we are getting no where but circles. Why are companies not standing behind the products they sell or wanting to do anything about complaints? We spent well over a $100 on these and for the flavors stated on packages and we could of just bought a can of coffee and gotten the same taste for $6. Bean box told us to add 2 packs to the coffee maker, when package states to add 1 box. The coffee is already expensive enough without adding 2 packs to each pot.Business response

Hello - We're very sorry you didn't have a great experience with the Bean Box products you purchased through a third-party retailer. As a gesture of good will, we have mailed you a refund, even though, as you mentioned when we spoke by phone, you did not purchase these products from us directly.

I am rejecting this response because: Per our phone conversation we were supposed to get a $100 refund in mail and another coffee package. Which I agreed to and would of changed the complaint details to satisfied, however......... We have gotten nothing as of Feb 21st. 2023. Sincerely,

Better Business Bureau:
We did receive the check in mail for refund on the coffee we bought. Don't know why check said the details were fishy and hide our account number. I have no need to commit fraud by stealing an account number on a check. We have the coffee boxes and receipt if they needed to see them. We buy in bulk, so I don't know what is so fishy about that. We never did get a sample of another coffee as they stated, however we did get the check for the refund and was happy with that. I am not sure what the response was because it's not showing it however you can close the case now because company did finally send the refund. The concept of the boxes for christmas and different named flavors is neat however we just didn't feel the coffee had much taste which was our original complaint.
