Feb 2021 , we hired this company to remodel our kitchen /upgrade electric in the kitchen. They also redid our plumbing through the house and did our upstairs floors. Immediately had issues with the floors and went back and forth with first contractor to fix them, they came out a few times and did not address most issues, Then August 05 ***** had a plumbing issue and reached out to the company. They did send someone immediately and the new contractor came out and we also showed him our floors he agreed it was the way the floor was the installation and they went ahead and put in new flooring in kitchen /living room and hall. Again, had issues immediately and have asked for someone to come out to fix ( I have all my messages in text ) at one point was told needed a special glue/needle for the glue. Then the contractor stopped responding, I have emailed company twice, my floors are coming up and have one place it broke off completely.Initial Complaint

We. hired HomePro Remodeling in October ****************************** our backyard into a DADU. We signed a contract on 10/11/21 with an agreement to pay a total of $89,573 for the work. We've paid a total of $60,910. The contractor estimated that the work would conclude by March 1, 2022, which was listed as the project completion date on the contract. After the design was agreed to, our contractor told us they hired an architect to create plans for submission. Our contractor hired subcontractors to pull out old carpet and resurface and repaint walls. We were told that it was acceptable to do this work as we were waiting for the permit to be approved. We were told in early 2022 that plans were submitted to the city. In March 2022, our contractor told us that there was a "huge backlog" of permits at the ************** that needed review and our project would be delayed. However, records from the city show that the building permit was not submitted until Sept 19, 2022. Meanwhile, between March and September 2022, our contractor continually blamed the ************** for construction permit delays and work ceased on the project, with the exception of an electrical panel upgrade to our house. In Sept 2022, we were told that the city had finally reviewed our application and approved most items, but a few revisions needed to be addressed. Around that time, HomePro resumed work on the structure which should not have been done before the permit was finalized. We were assured again that the work they were doing was OK to do before the permit was issued (creating a hole for ***************, plumbing, electrical, adding sheetrock, etc). In Dec 2022, our new project manager told us that the project was being mismanaged by the previous project manager. He also told us that HomePro is going out of business and does not intend to complete work on our project. We haven't received any additional information from HomePro, and calls to the number listed on their website go unanswered.Initial Complaint
