"Faked" masonry and chimney repair work; upselling of unnecessary work; corrupt materials used; threats of retaliation on April 22, 2024. I SO wish I had a photo of their truck, which has the BBB logo on it, boasting about their A rating, which is a lie. They used lies and high-pressure tactics to try to increase their scoped estimate from $2,500 to $15,000, trying to convince me ******* was falling down. When I wouldn't go for it, suddenly they told me I would need to pay more than they $2,500 estimate in writing if I wanted pots on my chimneys which was always part of the work in the estimate, which they took away from me after the disagreement after I pointed out that it was illegible anyway and they agree they'd find chimney pots and "do me a favor" of giving them to me, which was a lie bc it was always part of the work scoped out. I ended up learning they'd put fake chimney pots (the type of cheap clay ****** pots you use for plants) on my chimney crowns after finding the retail UPC labels in my grass with their project debris. When confronted, they denied. Reputable chimney firm confirmed they did no mortar repair, no flashing replacement, didn't do proper concrete work (already separating and cracking) on crown, and used ****** pots as chimney pots, which actually direct water IN to my chimney making things worse. When pressured to pay the second half of the $2,500 and me confronting them, they threatened me with a lien on my property and denied wrongdoing. I now have to pay another company to fix the original chimney/flashing problems they didn't repair AND undo their shoddy work. As I discovered I'd been cheated, everything I find out about this company makes me more suspicious. Them not being willing to provide an address, their names not given on their site or marketing materials, having a ****** review featured on their website from a "***************," etc. etc. Also contractors who are fixing their damage have heard of them defrauding others. Thanks.Business response

Hi in response to your bogus review Ive a attached the original email that was sent to you on day one there was never any mention of chimney pots at this point you agreed to do the job on Saturday 04/20/24 we came and done the job on Monday 04/22/24 you had plenty of time to look over the contract over the weekend. Originally the job was to waterproof the chimney to stop any water coming as a temporary fix until you got the funds to permanently remove or fix the chimney. Your chimney is falling down you could tell my works before they could tell you. Your chimney is 3to 4 inches separated for the siding you asked for a second quote for the future we told you it what cost approximately $15,000 to rebuild the portion of the chimney that need done.you then kicked up a fuss saying pots were part of the job. My guys and you agreed that you dont use the chimneys and that you only wanted pots for show which agreed and installed for free. Also the pictures you provided anyone can clearly see that someone sabotaged that work lifting the crown from the chimney concrete cant just lift on its own. Also I would like the name of the contractor that said he had previously called to other job about my company this is the first negative review weve ever received.
on a side note when my guys were working one of the neighbors stoped him and told him to be aware of ****** that he had previously had scammed guys working on the property witch I think is true because he kept giving us sad accuses example he said he had all hes money scammed from him from and investor and also claimed he was waiting for other insurance money to come to him and so on.
I also agree some things on our behalf should been better ie my guys left some old lumber and debris behind witch should been taken care of.
On a side note you claimed my guys took the invoice when the invoice had been emailed to you from the first day so thats a total lie
