This is a scam! It was advertised I could meet singles my age in my city. The few people I met were not even in my state. I asked for refund with no response for my $24. Extremely misleading. Dreadful business.Initial Complaint

TOTAL SCAM. Bait-and-switch, false advertising! In order to attend an event, you have to buy a "subscription". Then, you order tickets for the events you want. Mine was for Seattle, this evening at 8pm. I signed in to the site half an hour early to test the microphone and camera, and kept getting flooded with popup video calls, even though the event hadn't started yet. I texted the provided number for support, and their answer was that if the "app" (website) couldn't find anyone within the designated age range and city, that it would connect me with people in other cities and other ages. Why on earth would it be useful for someone to match in a completely different state, in a disparate age group? The whole point of the event was that it was for a specific location and age range. They refuse to provide (or even respond to requests for) a refund, though. I paid $24.99 for a 1-month subscription.Customer response

On multiple occasions, I have requested a refund for the fees charged to my credit for this "non-event." The "event" did not take place; therefore, it is unclear what I am being charged for. I have repeatedly requested an explanation for the fees and asked for a refund; to date, I have not received a response from this company. I have also filed a complaint with the *************************** Please refund the fees I was charged for this "event that did not take place. As noted, I signed up for the July 1st Singles Event in ************** at the ******************* inside the *************** The "event" was unorganized, and the host arrived almost an hour late. Again, it is not clear why patrons were charged a fee when everyone had no choice but to gather at ********'s bar because the "event" did not occur in the lounge. Once the host arrived, she checked everyone for their tickets and asked for fees. I asked if I could receive a refund because of the lack of organization, communication, and delay. Moreover, there were people who had not paid a fee and were allowed to stay because we were sitting at a public bar, not a private event we allegedly paid for. She advised that she would look into my request. Again, I have yet to receive a response to my requests. A few people stayed at the bar, and others left because there was no signage, communication, or direction regarding this "event'. The lack of coordination and communication for this paid event is unbelievable. Additionally, if anyone can walk in and join the crowd of singles, I should not have to pay a fee to participate, and I request a refund as I did not receive the services I was charged for. I signed up and attended an online speed dating event that was divided into three age groups. I was matched for chats with men who were totally out of my age group. When I signed up I specifically chose the appropriate age group. One of the men I spoke to said that people are just coming up randomly for him as well, without any regard to age specification.It seems that what you are providing is not at all as advertised. Please advise. I feel this was falsely advertised.Therefore; I am requesting a refund for the subscription.Initial Complaint

I paid $30 for a subscription to the website to attend online speed dating events. When attempting to attend the speed dating event on the website, it was full of technical glitches, connection issues, etc. It was completely unusable. I have asked for a refund and have not heard back. This is a complete scam and the company should get sued for fraud. I demand my money back and if I do not get it I will file a lawsuit.
