1 starI would leave negative rating if possible. This company is not legit! They stole my $60 and did not provide any of the services. There is no customer service at all. I called the number for the company which is only an endless loop of auto-prompts. The woman at the physical office I went to said they "didn't have the receipt" I needed to get my results, which I was told at my fingerprinting appointment would be mailed to my employer (they never were). So with no way to contact the company to get my results or a refund and no way to provide the background check to my employer, I was told I could make another appointment and pay another $60 - ummm what?It worries me that this company and whatever minions of satan they have working there had/have access to all my personal info including social security number. Use literally anyone else and save yourself the frustration.Review fromEmerald G

1 starId give less if I could. Preregistered for *** background check including input of social security #, home address phone ect. Upon my arrival and beginning of process the technician was receiving error messages so had to call customer service ( at least they have a working #). Anyhow after unplugging equipment and repowering proceeded however most of my preregistration was lost so typing my social security # in while two fools who minutes earlier couldnt work equipment are now lurking over my shoulder gazing at screen then one immediately leaves the room. This company should be called identity theft . After swiping credit card which swiper didnt work had to manually enter credit card number ( go figure) was told results would be emailed not a physical copy and once emailed I had three to six days to retrieve ( they werent sure) so that evening received email stating results were ready . Had to receive code by email, phone or text to enter to retrieve results. As soon as I entered code message appeared that I had six days to retrieve results would I like to download so I hit yes then clicked on downloaded pdfs icon to open. There absolutely was a download there from Identigo that was empty. Called customer service for the endless loop finally selected a prompt that had nothing to do with retrieval of background results because you will never hear that option so got an actual person who as soon as they realized why I was calling immediately forwarded me to the correct department which immediately began the loop to nowhere again. These people stole $50 from me and thats just so far. Have yet to see results of scumbag employees who steal social security #sReview fromLatasha W

1 starDrove 1 hour to get there and was told the technician called out so they couldnt do my precheck. Nobody thought to call or send an email or anything. I was then given an address on a sheet of paper to staples 5 minutes down the road which ended up being the wrong address 15 minutes down the road. I did find staples but they also didnt have a technician. Needless to say I drove back home for a hour without completing my precheck. Save yourself the headache and find a staples that takes walk ins just call before you go.Review fromKelly R

1 starMy husband and I drove 45 minutes to get to our appointment on 2/15/23. Due to weather we were 5 minutes late. The agent, ***** was not at the desk when we entered the room and there were 3 other people sitting and waiting. When she came into the room she said she would put us on the wait list. I told her we had an appointment which she scoffed at, and said you are late and over the time limit. I said it's only 5 minutes, the roads are bad and she said she could hear us enter from the other room and it was over 5 minutes. I then said "are you kidding? We just drove 45 minutes with bad roads and we were 5 minutes over and not a minute more." (Not to mention that their parking lot is on the other side of the building and parking takes at least a few minutes). She stated that she didn't even have to take us while she had our drivers' licenses and was writing our information on her sheet. My husband asked what the wait was and it was 2 hours. I was pretty mad I admit when she said 2 hours and said there were many before us on the list. I stated again that we made an appointment and we shouldn't have to wait 2 hours which she replied "there's the door." I asked for her manager and she said she was it. I asked for her superior and again she stated she was it. I said who hired you and she said nothing and that she didn't have to be treated this way and again there's the door. My husband said we will be back in two hours. That's when she said we wouldn't be allowed back in and not to come back because she doesn't have to be treated this way and she has our information on file. I was almost through the roof on the inside but kept my composure and said she will be hearing from someone about the way she treated us and we left. The truth is there isn't anyone to complain to, she can get away with how she treated us and she won't be held accountable. What kind of customer service doesn't allow someone with an appointment an extra five minutes due to weather, roads or traffic?Review fromRose Marie Jeannette Linda C

1 starThis is such a disorganized company. How they are permitted to be in business is beyond me. They have one person and only at certain days and certain hours for fingerprinting. No one to greet you as you come in. They had my name slightly different So I had to wait around until the one and only employee finished her lunch. This is the second time here and once in Mt ****** as well. I never received an email with details instructions hours of availability or confirmation. This does not seem like a legit enterprise. Very stressful process. Shame on the *** for using this company for such important issues.Review fromKelly M

1 starThis review is for customer service at the corp level. I received an email from Identego recapping the fees charged for my visit on the previous day. I noticed I was charged twice and call the local office. They advised me that I would have to call the main office and gave me the phone number. I told the representative what happened and she advised that I would have to scan the receipts and credit card statement for proof and that they didnt have any record of the email I received. I asked to speak with a supervisor and the rep said sure and hung up on me. I called my credit card company to dispute the extra charge.Review frommatthew s

1 starA total waste of time and money! I went to this place as it was recommended to me. I had little issues when I did my TX DPS fingerprints but for some reason when I went back in for my *** history check all my information was not correct in the system. I never got notified about my results and when I had made several attempts to check on my results via phone I got the run around answers of, "call this number to check your results" or "I don't deal with that state, you will have to call this number". On one attempt to call to find out about my results the associates were busy so I pout my number in to receive a call back. The call back consisted of; call back attempt 1 - no response when I said hello. Attempt 2 - I missed the call and a message was left consisting of an incorrect number to call back, it was for a different business. Now it has been too long and my results were scrapped so in order to get my results I have to take more time out my day and spend another $50.00 to start a new inqury. No discount or compensation due to clerical error. Identogo is a waste of time and money, DO NOT USE THEM FOR ANYTHING!Review frommadison b

1 starterrible company. no customer service AT all. very unprofessional. I drive an hour to my appointment which i had set several days in advance and when i arrive they tell me that their machine had been broken for weeks. they said that someone should have emailed me that my appointment was cancelled, but i received no such communication. they said 4 other people that day had the same issue. then i luckily found a location that was supposedly still open. i wanted to call to make sure they could take me but it is IMPOSSIBLE to get a customer service representative on the phone. because my fingerprint results were time sensitive i decided to just go and hope the wait wasnt too long. i got there 20 minutes before the closing time that was listed on the website AND on the door but it appeared that they had gone home early, as the door was locked and all the lights were off. i had to drive nearly 2 hours back home with nothing to show for it but a half empty gas tank. i tried to find an appointment for the next day but there was not a single location with appointments available so i had to go as a walk in. i explained the situation to them and they still put me behind appointments that were scheduled after the time i showed up. i needed up waiting 2 hours. that was one week ago and i still have not received my results. i tried calling their line in order to check my status and ask questions but when i type in the number for the department/state i want to inquire about. the phone goes silent and does not redirect my call anywhere. it is impossible to get in contact with this company.Review fromTammy S

1 starHorrible business and should not be allowed to prefer this service- they stole my money I can not get my results their customer service is useless - SHAME on the ************** for recommending this lousy service. This type of thief should be illegal.
