Purchased a CR Labs, non-surgical hair system from Prodigy Hair Studio (f/k/a Salon Juan) over $4,000.00, and the system did not match. Spent several months trying to rectify the discrepancy with the local business without success. Contacted CR Labs via email regarding my concerns. Did not get a response from CR Labs. I did get an angry arrogant text message from local business, Prodigy, but did not include any solutions to rectify concerns addressed in email to CR Labs. Prodigy's and CR Labs business practices should be brought to the attention of the ************************* of the ** Atty ********* ****** and the **************** *********************Business response

This is an inaccurate claim. ******************* has been wearing his CNC Cranial Prosthesis system for a year now. Recently his stylist dyed it darker and now that it is time to reorder, he is trying to get a refund. Some individuals are not able to afford non-surgical hair replacement. We do have communications that he continued to wear his purchase throughout the year and wanted to purchase an additional system. His last services were performed by a stylist that lives in his building for trade. His piece is darker than its original color and his stylist cut the piece. His last visit wasnt a pleasant one. We understand his being disappointed in the work his previous stylist did on his system but that is not our fault or responsibility.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:
******************** owns Prodigy Hair Studio. It is not your typical full-service hair salon. His business model is directed solely to patrons who are affected by hair loss.
He represents his business as the Nordstroms of nonsurgical hair replacement, promoting a CR Labs product that is represented as the Cadillac of the industry.
If one receives a product that is less than expected, one doesnt get even a semblance of an apology; one is referred back to unconscionable language in a receipt that can be described as too bad, youre stuck. Certainly not Nordstroms style of customer service. If one complains further, as the history with the BBB demonstrates, ******************** will either ignore or gaslight.
In my particular case, as I said originally, I spent months attempting to rectify the situation without success with this business including chemical treatments to my hair at additionally and unnecessary expense. The end resolve from this business was for me to purchase a second system. But I choose to try and make the original system work. Simply, I spent a year attempting to get Prodigy to either get the hair piece to match my hair or replace the piece with one that did match even providing photos showing the color didn't match. After a year of not getting anywhere with Prodigy, other that their pushing me to purchase a second piece, my regular sylist attempted a color match, but she did not perform any cuts accept on my hair. What I can or cannot afford isn't relevent to ******************* acti Essentially, I was sold a Cadillac, but received a ****** No matter how much I wanted it to be, or tried to make it a Cadillac, it remained a ****** Adequately described as lipstick on a pig. I didnt go with the second system as this business recommended. I considered the old adage: Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me.Additionally, I made two separate attpempts for resolution throught the Manufactuaer of the hair piece C.R. Labs. They failed to respond. Equally unprofessional.
I have two words for those considering this business or this product: BUYER BEWARE!
To the BBB. This complaint can be closed, as it is a futile effort to negotiate with a business owner who is more concerned with being right, than doing right. Including his failure at even a half hearted attempt of an apology. To ********************, I say: A mistake that makes you humble is better than an achievement that makes your arrogant.
