On Wednesday 4/17 I was scheduled for a new patient psychiatric appointment in person at 10:30am. I got 2 check-in links prior to appointment - one for a telehealth appointment on Sunday 4/17 to which i checked in, and one for an in person on Tuesday 4/16, both the same appointment time. I called the morning of appointment at 7:56am to confirm if appointment was in person or telehealth, which i was told the message was sent to the office and my call will be returned. I did not hear anything until 10:40am, where i was sent a zoom link and then given a phone call at 10:46am which was 16 minutes after appointment. I was then charged for a no-show fee, though they did not contact me for verification until after set appointment time. I was told they have no record of me calling. I absolutely called and tried to make my appointment. I tried to call again to follow up and was told they sent another message to billing, to whom they wont let me speak to directly even after asking to put me through to billing and choosing the billing issues prompt on phone.Initial Complaint

This company is all about greed, making $174.99 off people for a no-show fee. My appointment was scheduled for 4/15 at 4PM, and I remembered late but still within the window of time (30 minutes per staff). My Dr was not longer at the video call when I tried to join the session. When I tried calling the office, I was put on hold 15 minutes. No effort was made to even see if my doctor was still available for a quick check-in, which is all I needed. They just prefer to rip me off immediately, charging my card without permission very quickly. I requested a supervisor but one was not available, and I called a second time today they scheduled a call later with ******. She was calm and scripted "I am not able to waive the fee, it is in the financial agreement", even when I pleaded that $175 is many hours of work for me, and it was my grocery money, she repeated "unfortunately......." Even when I asked to refund me the money, and bill me, so I can pay in 2-3 times installments, she refused. How can this company be in the business of healing? they are a financial institution that want to make money off of patients.Business response

My complaint against Mindful Health Solution is because I was charged $98.51 for one appointment, in which my ADD symptoms were not treated, nor addressed by the provider whom I saw for the first time on January 11, 2023. I have been a patient at Mindful Health Solution since October 2022, but I finally was able to start receiving treatment for my ADD in January 2023. I was assigned *************************************************** as my mental health provider. As I was filling out the online check-in questionnaire for my appointment with **********************, the last webpage was in regards to submitting my payment, or I would not be able to receive treatment. I felt pressured into submitting a payment, which was not disclosed to me by anyone that a patient has to pay before treatment is rendered. The cost of my treatment was $98.51. During my first appointment at Mindful Health Solution, the provider did not want to treat, nor address my ADD symptoms. **********************, without a neuropsychological test wanted to focus on the movement of my mouth, and determined that I did not need stimulants, which is what is supposed to be taken for my ADD symptoms. I felt very uncomfortable about his comments on my mouth. ********************** had just met me, and was throwing out some possible diagnosis for my mental health disorder. It was rude and denigrating. I kept telling that gentleman that I only take stimulants for my disorder. ********************** wasted my time, in which he, the office manager, and I kept going back and forth about prescribing me at least Straterra. He did not even want to prescribe a non-stimulant, Straterra to treat my ADD symptoms, and said that he would rather see me in person before he can give me a prescription for my ADD. I was led to believe during my appointment with him that he did not mind prescribing me a non-stimulant, but he later changed his mind, in which he wanted for me to schedule an appointment to see him in-person. I wasted my $98.51 on an awful doctor that did in no way treat my mental health disorder. When the company had scheduled me to see another provider, I noticed that the payment for my treatment was over $100; and I had to pay before seeing the provider for an appointment. I then decided not to go back to that telemedicine company that hire doctors to treat their patients poorly. Mindful Health Solution was able to get $98.51 from me, and did not provide any mental health treatment for me. I want to be refunded by Mindful Health Solution in the amount of $98.51 for not rendering treatment, but wasting my time with their contract ******* ***********************Initial Complaint

Every time my son has an appointment with Mindful Health Solutions, they bill me for the full amount instead of billing my health insurance. I have uploaded my insurance card several times. They are supposed to charge me a $25 copay, but they always charge me the full amount of $325. They currently owe me $300.
