I purchased an RLD Canopy on Dec 11th 2021 for $4530.99 with custom paint. Patiently waited an entire year for this order to arrive with the excuse of Covid and Shipping logistics issues around the world. My order sat in ************ never moving. *** called me to arrange an agreement of accepting a newer version of the canopy that he had in stock in WA and could deliver. Some slight differences then what I ordered one of them being the color. I wanted it paint-matched. This new version was a different color so *** and I agreed that he would deduct the roof bars amount with 40% off sale from my custom color paint option on my order #**** which I have the emails. The Custom Paint option was $725. *** asked for to confirm my email and I did. *** was going to refund the difference to my pay pal since for some reason they can refund it back to my credit card. This was 4 weeks ago. I have emailed multiple times, Called nobody answers the phones, and I even left VM. NO ANSWER. Basically ghosted with no responses. Talk about great ***************** not here!. I have opened a dispute with the credit card company and they declined it due to being 60 days old. Well yeah, when a company cant deliver their product and makes you wait a year how is that my fault? My next action besides filling this BBB out is I will be filing a small claims court action lawsuit next for my entitled refund I was promised by ***. I would like my refund of the difference for the paint I paid for.Initial Complaint

I purchased a ********** Canopy for a 2019+ Chevrolet Silverado on 03 SEP 2021 (Order #****) from **************** *** (**************************** / RLD Design USA / Adventure Ready). The purchase ammount and shipping was $4425.08. Due to Covid, shipping logistics, etc, the Canopy was on an extended delay. On 13 APR 2022 I expressed options for a return, exchange, or refund given the vehicle it was ordered for was sold. At this time, I was told the canopy was on its way. I responded via email on 15 APR 2022 that I would pursue the refund, with the $500 restocking fee. z After no response on phone calls, I followed up again via email on 17 JUL 2022, and was asked if I was certain I wanted to cancel. I replied immediately that, I was sure. On 25 JUL 2022 I received a response request to confirm address, I sent a new mail address since we moved. After further delays and no response, I reached out on 13 SEP 2022 following an email about a tracking update (there was no tracking number provided, and the link when to a null tracking page). After no further response to calls I emailed them on 18 OCT requesting another update.
