I have purchased a travel group package but due to exceptional circumstances of getting covid I am unable to attend. Although the travel company does state that if I cancel within 10 days that no refund will be given I feel this is unfair due to the extreme uptick in covid delta variant this month. I paid $888. Since I believe the hotel could be refunded prior to the trip to the company, and I have given three days notice I feel that the company's policy is unfair since I offered to cancel on my own. If I had told them I had covid and was still coming they would be forced to cancel me and issue me a refund. I did not proactively take an ill will approach, but rather hoped the travel company would work with me. This was a for a five day, four nights trip by a Chinese tailored language tourist company out of ******* going to Yellowstone.Business response

I am the travel agent that selling the tour package to this client, I am forwarding the complaint to the tour operator, which is *************************** hopefully they can either refund or reschedule her tour.
I will get back as soon as the tour operator respond to my email.
