      Over 7 months ago the old hand railing broke going down the stairs to the mail boxes I sent pictures on May 18th 2021 to *************************** showing the broken railing. Today 11-30-2021 nothing has been fixed there is no railing the only reply I have received is that its next on 11-12-2021 The same with a leaking Kitchen faucet on 9-22-2021 A broken toilet handle on 11-18-2021 water ran for a long time before I realized what was going on. Now every time I use the toilet, I have to remove the top back to make sure the water won't keep running today 11-30-2021 nothing fixed.

      On 10-28-2021 I sent *************************** a text and photo the 2nd bedroom window was leaking water from the top of the frame and at the bottom from the wall 12-1-2021 nothing fixed there is water damage to the wall. 11-22-2021 sent *************************** a text and photo the ceiling in the 2nd bedroom is leaking water it has in the past black spots where water has leaked. 12-1-2021 nothing fixed there is water damage. 11-12-2021 message from *************************** I was next on the list and have to wait for a dry day for the roof. This is the same team from ************************** there are some good reviews and bad the same bad reviews are what the experience is here late response if any not having things fixed in a timely manner. West Side Property Management took 2 months to fix tub and tile and the window not a 2-month job.

      I need this stuff fixed by a professional I just paid rent. This is the 2nd report

      To Whom It May ************* am the Owner of West Side Property Management.  This letter is in response to a complaint made by our tenant *****************.  Your letter is dated December 2, 2021 and I received it in the evening of December 9, 2021, via ******** and did not receive through email. 
      **** is someone who frequently complains to our office about different things he does not like about the property in which he resides.  The owner of this particular property is very adamant about keeping repairs done but is conservative when it comes to upgrades; he strives to keep the rents low for all of his tenants (even with the yearly increases in property taxes and utilities that he pays, he does not pass these increases on to the tenants).  
      Since the beginning of the Covid pandemic, **** has had an exceptional number of complaints.  His list started with the trees surrounding the property.  He made threats to our office that someone would pay if any branches fell on his vehicles (please keep in mind that each tenant is allowed two vehicles on the property and **** keeps multiple cars on the property even after requests from our office to remove them).  We found a company who was still willing to provide a service to us during the pandemic and the total cost came out to $6,700.00 to have a few trees removed, some trimmed back and shrubbery maintained.  Even though this price seemed a bit steep, the owner gave us the go-ahead to start this project.  During this time, a railing had broken.  **** let us know, but as we mentioned to him, it has been exceptionally hard to find a general contractor or handyman during the time of the pandemic who was willing to do any type of work less than a home remodel (being told by numerous companies that due to the national labor shortage crisis, they are lacking employees).  We have gotten prices, received the ok from the owner (who is stuck out of the country due to the pandemic) and are waiting on the contractor to give us a date to start the project.  Another repair request made by **** was the bathroom sink leaked underneath.  We found a handyman who was available to come fix this issue relatively quick.  Since having his first two complaints assessed and completed, three more had been made: **** had broken his toilet handle, chipped his kitchen floor and the kitchen faucet is leaking from the top; all things we just recently found someone who was willing to come give us prices and setup a date to fix.  We speak with **** frequently and he is kept up to date on the steps we are taking to have maintenance items addressed. The contractor was at the property looking at his repair requests and getting costs to us to give to the owner before **** filed these complaints.
      To conclude, I would like to restate that I have always had Pauls maintenance requests fulfilled in a timely manner; it has always been hard to please him.  I have tried to communicate to **** that during this time, we do have to wait our tun on some maintenance requests due to the shortage of labor; no complaint is going unresolved. I would also like to address the way ***************** is negatively speaking about my company; I do find it to be defamation of character.  If he does choose to take this any further, I will seek legal counsel.

      I am rejecting this response because: I had branches fall on my car causing scratches I never said that someone would pay that is a lie I said it is not my job to maintain the trees and if I had severe damage, I would use my insurance and provide info to them that I had told ****** about the trees 2 years or more I had asked for some work to be done on the trees. The toilet handle just broke it was old. the floor was lifted up before I moved in, they had it glued down it came up and my foot caught it and chipped some of it. I report things that go bad when I see them. 

      ****** has not told me in the past about not finding help she hardly communicates back when I text and rare that she answers when you call, I have 3 cars 

      ****** is acting like I am a problem tenant for asking for things that should be fixed or be properly kept up I never had a problem with them before now I see she just wants to lie and create a problem I don't see the need to take legal action but the law for rental properties should be upheld here. 

      I am asking you to come take a look and see for yourself and talk to the other 2 tenant's this place is old and need some attention.
